A remarkable example of living history (and living faith), the Campground is a well-preserved example of Americana and a peaceful respite from the bustle of nearby Circuit Avenue. Take time to walk the small side streets, as well as Trinity Circle itself. Once a year, Illumination Night magically lights up the Circle with vintage lanterns, but our current crowds can... More

Please leave time to stroll this incredible gem of history and housing. Pick a color, any color, and choose your favorite Victorian cottage to dream about. In the center of it all is the Tabernacle which showcases talent and concerts.

We have wandered through the gingerbread house campground many times over the years, but this time we decided to rent one for a week and it has been a blast. Our rental is right on the Tabernacle, so as I write this I am hearing someone playing the piano in there. Yesterday, there were people gathered to see a juggler.... More

Don't expect all the modern conveniences and late night partying and you won't be disappointed. This area of Oak Bluffs is quaint and sleepy and the perfect place to unwind and unplug. There are rules to observe, but nothing that doesn't add to the enjoyment of a quiet Vineyard vacation. Walking distance to shopping, beaches, and markets - an ideal... More

The "gingerbread houses" are located in the center of town in Oak Bluffs, just a block or two from the ferry dock. My family had such fun walking around and looking at the houses. Even my two year old loved it. For my five year old, it was fun to see her pointing out some of the detail in the... More

a great place to spend a couple of hours amongst all the Gothic cottages in the Campground surrounding the huge tabernacle. Even if you are not a history buff or a lover of architecture a visit to the Vineyard has to include the Campground.

Perfect place for a morning or evening stroll. Beautiful gingerbread-like cottages surround a lovely green. There was a concert going on in the church when we walked through, so we enjoyed sitting and listening for a while. Don't miss it!

Really enjoyed walking around the campground and seeing the amazing houses. Historic, fun and colorful. Spend a few dollars for the museum and take a look inside.

I highly recommend visiting this location. The houses are very beautiful. The place is quite and has a lot of shades. It's good to relax during the hot summer.
