Tour Martha's Vineyard in a 14 passenger, a/c touring van. Fully narrated by local, knowledgeable, and friendly guides. Our famous one hour tour, or, a 2.5 to 3 hour tour, which covers the entire island with great stops at the clay cliffs of Aquinnah and the working fishing village of Menemsha. See lighthouses, historic whaling captain homes from the 1800's on the streets of Edgartown. Enjoy Oak Bluffs, a Victorian style summer resort built around the historic Methodist Campground. We also offer 2 hour and customized tours. We travel to many places the "tour bus" cannot go....Martha's Vineyard Transport is the original van tour company, and now its seems Martha's Vineyard Excursion (ex neighbor employee) .not only copied are business plan, but also our ad picture of the van at the East Chop lighthouse..

Great tour if like us you are only on the island for a day, the tour guide was a local and kept us entertained with stories of the area and the rich and famous who visit there. We went round the entire island, with a stop off at the cliffs at Aquinnah cliffs - just make sure you have change... More

If you want real customer service try Ron's van transport. For the past 2 years our women's group of 140 women has been transported from the ferry to our hotel in Edgartown by Ron and his team. They are both accommodating and friendly. They are also willing to do customized tours. I tried another van service before finding Ron and... More

Martha’s Vineyard Tour Roald Dahl got it right when Willie Wonka said “So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute strike that. Reverse it.” On Martha Vineyard one is confronted with a dilemma. The Island is so beautiful you feel get an overwhelming feeling of relaxation and a desire to rest. Yet it would be a huge... More

We're a couple from Columbus, Ohio. Decided to take a road trip... everything we did was decided along the way and last minute. After reading reviews and being a JAWS junkie, we requested Dave Alton for our tour. He's a great guy, funny, personable, knowledgeable and the real deal! He knows everything and more about the island. We loved hearing... More

Awsome tour guide and company! The bus ride from Boston to the ferry was very informative. Then rode the ferry to Marthas Vineyard, and had a representative waiting for us and done the 3 hour tour of the island. Great trip great guides very interesting tour of island! The extra tour is well worth the 40$ up charge.

I have an obsession with the movie, JAWS. And even though I am a native Bostonian I hadn't been to Martha's VIneyard until last week. My facebook group JAWS finatics recommended Martha's Vineyard Transport and Tours for a JAWS themed tour of the island. It was definitely the highlight of the trip for myself, my husband and our ten year... More

The tour far exceeded our expectations. Ken customized our tour to our interests and had a real passion and knowledge of the island. He made great recommendations for places to see and restaurants as well.

We took a three hour tour of Martha's vineyard with Cheryl. She was very informative regarding history of the island and numerous places of interest. There were four of us in a small van so we could get to places that the bigger tour buses could not. We drove to all 7 towns on the island. I would highly recommend... More

I can't say enought good things about our driver, Cherly King. Our group of relatives had a facinating visit. We went to areas we never whould have know about and learned the interesting history of the island. Cherly answered all of our questions with patience, demonstrating a vast knowledge of the area. Her flexibility (we had members with special needs... More

Our guide was Ken retired Restate Agent so lots of information of land and homes, that you could not see. Like the Kennedys, Clintons. Lots of trees and vegetation so just drove down roads not worth the money to go. Went Oct 13 2015 resturants and gift shops were close. Hour and half drive from Boston. Mickey

Ken is a great guide.. look at the reviews ... he could not show the Kennedy compound which is on Cape Cod.. and the Clintons do not own or have ever owned real estate,, we must travel roads which are tree lined to get to Clay Cliffs, and lighthouse of Aquinnah..we just can't land there.. . 1000''sof customers have enjoyed...
