Such fun! We did LED SUP in Lake Tashmoo in Vineyard Haven. Terrific staff, beautiful night, bioluminescent jellyfish. What could be better? Maybe a little champagne in a glow cup? Sure! It's always nice to get more than expected on the tour!

We had a large group and called the day before to see if they could accommodate a large group for paddleboard and kayak rentals around 9 or 10 in the morning. The woman on the phone said, no problem - they had lots of equipment and there was no minimum time required. We decided to call back later in the... More

Timely service with minimal waiting, even for a large group (17) on a busy morning. Our guide, Brennan, was genuine, interesting and knowledgeable. He engaged us in a game of kayak Frisbee and struck a good balance between leading us and asking what we wanted to see/do.

We weren't sure if we needed a tour or should just rent and do our own thing, so glad we chose the tour. Our guide Patrick was absolutely wonderful! He is so informative regarding the history of Martha's Vineyard, as well as all around well educated. We had a two and a half hour tour and enjoyed every minute! I... More

My seven year old and I took out a double kayak one not so sunny day and had a great time. We didn't get too far when the skies opened and it began to rain. We turned in, and the attendant offered to give us a full refund. My friends also turned in, and they too were offered a refund.... More

With 6 of us in various stages of ability, a sunset/moonlight kayak adventure seemed a bit risky, but we went for it anyway, and were a little nervous when only one guide was assigned to work with us. But Patrick soon put us at ease with his warm and friendly manner, and he assured us that he was there to... More

Our adult family of 7 rented 2 Stand up paddle boards yesterday and a 2 person kayak at State beach on the bay side. We told him we were inexperienced paddle boarders and he provided NO suggestions, information or warnings about the current. My daughter and I took the kayak and my other daughter took the paddle board. It was... More

NO TRIP TO THE VINEYARD IS COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED ISLAND SPIRIT KAYAK! I did the SUP by moonlight four times this summer on the 9:30 pm tour conducted by Island Spirit Kayak. Every time, I brought a different group of people...the smallest group was 7! EVERYONE WAS THRILLED with the experience! We had such a blast! Certainly the... More

Unique and awesome activity to do at night. The 3 of us did the evening LED Stand Up Paddle Board Adventure. The lights on the bottom of the board light the water below you. We paddled through the harbor at night, when is is so quiet and peaceful. Maggie, our guide, was so friendly, helpful, and informative. Although it rained... More

We went for a weekend, and our Saturday morning was overcast. We went kayaking, and it started to rain when we got there. The people working were super friendly and helpful. They said that with the lifejacket, once we start kayaking we'll warm up and enjoy it anyways. Plus, the water was still 75 degrees. We got a quick on... More
