This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard and it was a day trip. We decided to take the 2 1/2 hour bus tour that covers the six island towns. We were extremely disappointed to see that there really wasn't much to see. Most of the tour consisted of driving through long narrow streets with only trees for a view.... More

We had a very enjoyable bus tour of the island. The tour lasted two and a half hours. The tour guide was very informative and funny at times. The tour included seeing the Gay Lighthouse, notable homes, views of beaches and cliffs. The tour makes a half hour stop for lunch and shopping. The food was so-so for the price.... More

Had a good experience on the tour. Driver Ted I think his name was, was great! Had me laughing the whole time with his dry sense of humor! It was really cold but he showed us a lot of stuff and was very knowledgable about MV. Had 2 idiots on our bus that ask dumb questions. Otherwise would highly recommend.

Took two tours in the past two months. One with my husband and one with a friend. The 1st tour we booked thru the Ferry service as we could never get anyone on the phone to answer questions. Price was reasonable for what they stated was offered – 2.5 hour basic tour of the entire island for around $31 (price... More

I honestly feel like I have wasted 2 and a half hours of my life that I will never get back and also wasted 62 bucks. This tour company need to start listening to their customers. "The bus driver speaks way too fast has an awful accent and you can only understand one word in 20 that he says. This... More

Good history tour with a stop at the cliffs. Well worth the money. I wish we could have gone to Menemsha but it was still a good tour.

I'm not a person who usually reviews things, but teh bus tour of Martha's Vineyard was excellent yesterday. Our bus driver (Ta-Lee - sorry for incorrect spelling) was excellent, very funny, very knowledgable and able to keep talking all teh way round (but not rambling) - which is pretty impressive as the isalnd, while beautiful and quaint, is not exactly... Incredibly boring tour. A bus that should have be scrapped 25 years ago. A guide whose English was sadly lacking. Take the Island Queen [fabulous] to Oak Bluffs and explore. Then spend $1 on the local bus to Edgartown. You will see two beautiful little towns and save $60 and 2 1/2 hours Tony Carter

You get off your boat, hike up to the stand in town, and you see the bus. It's ... underwhelming, shall we say. You board an older school bus. Flashbacks of childhood! Actually, the tour itself was pretty good. We had a college student driving, and he truly had passion for the island and for the driving. It was a... More

The tour guide did a great job of giving information about the island and various sites and locations. He used humor to fill in some gaps during times of no sites on the road.
