We took both the bus tour so we could see all the towns in the area and then the next day took the trolley which was a little different tour and allowed for time to shop and eat.

Tony was our informative bus driver; excellent knowledge of history and island. Drove through all six towns starting out in Oaks Bluff. Stopped for 1/2 hour at Aquinnah to see cliffs and seaside attraction. A great sampler tour to pick our favorite spots on island.

This two and a half hour bus tour goes through the six towns in Martha's Vineyard and makes a short stop in Aquinnah. The driver was knowledgeable and humorous, but you cannot see a lot from the bus and you are passing large Forrest areas for a good portion of the trip. I would have preferred to spend time in... The trip was worth it but overlong with not enough stops. The bus was on old school bus, not enough leg room and the seats were hard. The driver was knowledgeable but droned on and on. The only stop was at the Bluffs.

We took a 2 hour tour around Martha's Vineyard. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and quite funny with his commentary and jokes. At the end of the tour he told us he was from Azerbaijan and learned to speak English from watching TV. I enjoyed this tour tremendously. Highly recommended.

Great tour which was guided by a local person so we got some great stories on our way round by someone with lots of local knowledge. We started at Oak Bluffs and went all the way round the island in 2 and a half hours. Saw lots of homes of the rich and famous as well as the areas were... More

Island Transport was a convenient mode of transportation not having a vehicle on the island. They showed up at the allotted times for pick up from the hotel and for transportation to restaurants. The drivers were friendly and courteous.

We took the 2.5 hour island tour, as not having been on the island prior, nor having our car, it would be a nice overview. There were several points seen and history given that wouldn't have known otherwise. The bus was late leaving, which then cut our tour short/pushed it a bit. The 30 min Aquinnah stop could easily have... More

We took the two hour tour around Martha's vineyard and the bus driver was informative but very monotone. In addition the air conditioning did not work and the windows did not open fully. We were steaming. When we arrived and stepped out of the bus, we felt like we had stepped into AC- it was so hot inside. The driver... More
