Circuit Avenue is the main street of Oak Bluffs with lots of restaurants, coffee houses, stores and shops. From it you can walk to the pier for all that it has to offer (food, fishing, etc.) The candy and ice cream stores are a must in season, and some of the restaurants and shops stay open year round, I believe.

Cool place to spend as little as an hour or as much as a few. Nice mix of typical souvenir / t-shirt shops and more upscale ones. A few really cool looking local restaurants

Circuit Avenue is Oak Bluffs busiest street and has a mixture of cafes, bars, restaurants, galleries, some tourist stock, and arts and crafts places that that are wonderful if you want to wander and poke through treasures. Generally speaking, the service is excellent, friendly and a great source of local knowledge. Prices are okay for Martha's Vineyard and much lower... More

This street is the focal part of Oak Bluffs as you de-board the ferry. It has a great collection of gift and clothing shops as well as nice place to eat. Everyone working in the shops are very friendly and informative.

Walked the avenue several times. Full of predictable shops and touristy things. Looks like any beach town strip of stores. There is a homemade ice cream store every 5th doorway, so plenty to go around.
