I think Circuit Avenue and MV in general is just a bunch of hype. I must say, I have travel a lot and have been to many quaint islands in the US and abroad and I just don't see what the draw is with MV. I have no desire to return.

Circuit Ave is the 'main street' of OB. There are restaurants, 'night clubs', shopping for touristy items, as well as fine clothing and shoes. At the end of the street there is a great pizza place that does slices to go, and a carousel for the kids. Close by is Jeep and scooter rentals. In my opinion, this is the... More

It's your usual Main Street touristica. Shops, restaurants and bars, and cafes line the street. At night, this is the place to be on Martha's Vineyard. But beware, often times you'll find overprivlidged, underrated children and young adults wandering the streets at night who are in serious need of parental supervision and have no regard rules or polite social behavior.

We found a spot to park pretty easily on Circuit Avenue and popped into Sharky's Cantina for drinks. Then we stopped in the Secret Garden for gifts and postcards. Browsed through multiple t-shirt and specialty shops. Found the home of Back Door Donuts but it wasn't 7 pm yet. Picked up a delicious Frothy Frappe from Linda Jean's before leaving.... More

Always fun to check out the new stores, but the best part is visiting the favorite ones that have been there for years.

Craftworks is a great shop with beautiful handcrafted objects. They ship, saving sales tax. Mocha Motts is great for coffee/chai. Ben & Bills chocolate emporium is first rate. In the high season, parking is limited.

Circuit Ave in Oak Bluffs is one of the most popular spots on the Vineyard. Half of circuit ave is tourist tee shirts shops, the are also some very cool shops and places to eat and drink. But at the bottom of Circuit there is an old movie theater (Island) that is falling into the ground, it's so sad. I... More

Close to pubs, restaurants, liquor store, market, waterfront, cute retail stores, tiny victorian cottages that make one think of dollhouses. We went off season and painting and prep for the season was underway.

When in Oak Bluffs, Circuit Ave. is the heartbeat. while not that long in distance, it is filled with virtually everything from restaurants, clothing shops, supermarket, liquor store, music store, bakeries, an arcade and good old-fashioned tourist shops. And there is more to do and see on the adjacent street! There are several alley accesses the tiny gingerbread cottages surrounding... More

Nice shops. Fantastic places to eat. Visit Erik at the Oak Bluffs Inn and ask if he has vacancies. Great B&B!
