Awesome place to go if staying at the nearby Inn at Northampton historic Inn!... and within walking distance to shops and restaurants too.

This place never disappoints. It's your basic club, they get name acts and always manage to pack folks in comfortably. The food ain't much but the martinis and entertainment are top notch

The Iron Horse has consistently delivered a high quality of music for decades, and the area would suffer greatly without its presence. Most of the valleys best local artists have performed here, and developed into more popular regional, national and worldwide successes. National and international acts usually stop by on their tours to play here. The inside is rustic, the... More

The Iron Horse is a Northampton icon. Live music every night - and some really great bands come through here. I've seen everyone from Dick Dale to NRBQ to Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz Messengers here. Always a great crowd, appreciative of the music and respectful of the artists. I love it here.

Northampton boasts a number of fine venues for hearing music. This is one of the best, as it is a small and intimate space that often features world class acts. It is a bit seedy and not terribly clean, the food is ordinary at best, and the staff ranges from friendly to surly. I object to their $5 "service charge"... More

Had a good time last night but am always surprised that the food is as uninspired as it is. We've been going to the Iron Horse for about 15 years and am shocked that I don't recall any changes to the menu. While you don't go for the food, I also may not go back often because of the food.... More

My husband and I went for the first time last week to see Ellis Paul. 7pm show. Doors open at 5:30 and it's general admission. Slow process to get everyone seated. We got a decent, but tiny table with 2 small chairs. Not bad though. They make the most out of a small area. I did not have to venture... More

The Iron Horse harkens back to day of clubs like the Bottom Line, and unlike venues like the Bottom Line, the Iron Hose presents great live acts to this day. Retrofitted (a long time ago) from retail store the space features a good size stage, and old school table seating in front of the stage and on a mezzanine. I... More
