Great free place for kids to burn off energy! Minimal zoo. Great large sandbox area with pails and shovels already there! Many picnic areas.

This is a great local park but not much of a zoo. But it is more a gigantic picnic ground that happens to have a few farm animals. If you look close you might find a farmer. It just may be old McDonald singing E-I-E-I-O. The kids have a great time playing on all the gym equipment in the playground,... More

This is a fantastic small town park and zoo, and there is no admission. It has a nice zoo with several varieties of animals. There are two different playground and a nice serenity park where you can just sit and read a book or meditate. There are about 3 dozen picnic tables and you can have organized parties there also... We took some friends with two children, they and we, had a blast on a hot summers day. Forgot water though, so remember to bring. Also bring snacks so kids can sit and rest for two minutes!

Brought the kids up here .... It really is a nice area ... We fed the animals and played on the playground .... If you explore a little you'll see what looks like the remains of ski lift maybe?.... We packed a lunch and had a great time ....

My 21 month old granddaughter had a great time. She loves animals and there were enough for her. They were also near enough so they could be seen. She had fun in the kiddie playground and sandbox. She got so excited with the water fountain trying to catch the water shooting up. We will definitely be back.
