Beautiful sunset! If you want to get a parking space arrive before 5:00 and bring dinner, drinks and chairs and just relax. There is food available at the beach but the lines are super long. It is truly a memorable time. Enjoy!

The best place on the island to watch the sunset!!!! I love coming here to eat seafood on the beach while enjoying the view. We ordered hot lobster rolls from Menemsha fish market this time which was much less crowded than Larsen's and equally as tasty. The only downfall is the parking!! There is a small public lot that fills... More

We arrived around 5 and struggles to park. Hear there's a new parking lot with a shuttle bus, which we"ll try next time. Beautiful evening and lots of others there waiting for sunset. Walked down the road and got boiled lobsters and some bisque to eat on the beach. Lovely view and calm seas - wish I had the kayak... More

Has bathrooms which is important! Nice beach but a little rocky. Has a few places to eat. All in all a nice place for a few hours in the sun

I spent a day on this beach just soaking up the rays and listening to the ocean. The sand was very clean. I observed a family of five cleaning up - picking up trash along the beach very early in the morning. I guess that's one way to keep it in good shape. The water was very cold (June) so... More

Very clean beach with calm waters. Sits next to a working fishing harbor and with boat coming and going. Nice spot for picnic lunch. Just kick back and relax.

The Mememsha area is just gorgeous. There isn't much to do there, though. The beach was very quiet, water was very calm. The only drawback is that it is rocky - it was hard to walk into the water without shoes (though the 3yr old girl next to us had no problem.. so take that with a grain of salt).... More

I spent the day at Aquinnah Beach & then came here for the sunset (& a lobster roll from Larsen's Fish Market). The sunset was very pretty & I loved that a crowd gathered to watch it & enjoy picnics on the beach. There was even an shockingly good a cappella group that really added to the ambiance. Truly a... This is the place for you who love to see sunset and very unique fishing village. So if you get there before the sunset, get some fresh seafood and bring your own wine and relax and enjoy the nature. Not very many parking spots, no complaints, sometimes too many people.
