Gorgeous Views and Great place for a picnic

The views at Ned's point are gorgeous. There is a small, grassy park area with picnic tables. The park was immaculate. Great spot for a picnic.

The area is nice but the lighthouse isn't very impressive. Free parking and 270 degree water views make it worth the short detour but that's about it.

This is an incredible place to spend a few hours during the day, at lunch, or at sunset. You can see the entire harbor and all the way across to Woods Hole. The light house is a landmark here.

Beautiful with breathtaking views! This is a hidden spot for sure. Sandy beaches and very clean. We were out for a nice Sunday drive after eating at a really great place (Riccardi's). Stopped by this beautiful area. So peaceful and relaxing

We have been touring New England and stopping at lighthouses along the way. This one is easy to get to, lots of parking, 360 degree view, can't go in it but great for pictures.

Ned's Point lighthouse is a great place to fly a kite, have a picnic, or enjoy a sunset walk by the ocean. If you have a chance to go to Mattapoisett you should not miss going here.

As a kid I grew up in Mattapoisette in the Summers and had so much fun walking down Neds point Rd and visiting friends along the way to the light house. It's still the same and is as beautiful as ever. We used to climb on the rocks and play tag and do scavenger hunts. Man those were the good... More

Charming little spot for a picnic, watch the boats go by, fly a kite or play Frisbee. Usually not very crowded, not much traffic. Park your car and take a walk or a bike ride around the seaside neighborhood. If your in the area it's definitely worth the trip but I wouldn't drive an hour or more just to come... More
