We drive 40 minutes to buy the pancake mix here. They have a grist mill to grind their own wheat and corn. It is so good we buy multiple packages and also give as gifts. You can visit the mill while you're there!

I first went here with my parents on "a Sunday drive" in the fifties. the penny candy is not a penny anymore but it is good and will bring back memories to those who can remember country stores. They have some interesting things to look at and if you are in the area it is worth a stop

When I was little we used to go there and get penny candy, things aren't quite a penny anymore but still a fantastic place to visit and a great place to find old New England items.

I LOVE going to this candy store. I love the caramels and the gummy sharks. The new product 'life-size gummy snakes' are ok, but not the best. when going here, be sure to hit the homemade chocolates :)

Came upon this store while in the area. It was very nostalgic and loved shopping here. They also have some Collectibles I their store. Old fashion candy in half of the building. Took me down memory lane. Bought a few items to share with my grown children to bring back some great memories and to introduce to a new generation... More

In the 60's my brothers and I would ride our bikes from Saxonville to the Wayside Country Store to buy candy. It has a great candy store in it. I had all but forgotten the experience until last week when I came back for a visit and was driving around. All these memories came flooding back. It is a nice... More

The Wayside Country Store is reputed to be one of the oldest continually operating stores in the country. It is defiantly a place to stop in this area. Next to it is Stephen Anthony’s restaurant, a great place to eat. Nearby is a historic area with the Wayside Inn dating from the revolutionary war and the subject of Longfellow’s poem”... More

Full of collectibles and souveniers. Lots of old photos of Marlborough, too. Also connected to a fantastic candy store so its worth the trip to come and browse and see what strikes your fancy!
