Beautiful views

Beautiful views with lots of benches to just sit & watch the boats & water. Lighthouse was very cool, wish it was open to climb to the top! Take a picnic lunch if you can!

We were lucky enough to be able to watch the sailboats come in from the sailboat races on Sunday. Very nice park with restrooms and benches to sit and take in the view. Many people brought their own chairs for a day of relaxing.

We drove out to Chandler Hovey Park to see the Lighthouse up close. There is a monument with history of the light and a list of the lighthouse keepers. The views of the harbor and surrounding islands was beautiful.

For a serene vista overlooking Marblehead's spectacular harbor, don't miss Chandler Hovey Park and Marblehead Lighthouse. We saw four regattas underway from here with scores of small sailboats; what a view. The Good Humor Man even stopped by for a visit. A beautiful day. Also, across the harbor Crocker Park is a short walk from town and also has gorgeous... More

We spent the day here in Marblehead walking around sightseeing and capped it off with a visit to the lighthouse which did not disappoint.

Chandler Hovey Park and Marblehead Lighthouse had beautiful views of the marina/harbour. The park had plenty of benches to sit and soak in the view. (hopefully it won't be too windy for you)

The "Lighthouse Park", as it's called in Marblehead, is the best place to go on a summer afternoon and watch all the scores (sometimes hundreds) of small, one-design racing yachts competing on several courses at a time all across the ocean panorama visible from this rocky headland. You understand why Marblehead is called a "Yachting Capital". Again, at dusk, there's... More

Great spot on the harbor. There are concerts here during the arts festival (July) and on every so often in the summer. The local kids jump off the dock in to the harbor-fun to watch.
