Great view of boats going in at out of harbor and lighthouse as well as Boston on the horizon. You may run into a groundhog there.

Has a nice area to walk around and sit on a bench and take in the view from a 360 degree view. Plenty of interesting forts there to look at a plenty of room for the kids and dogs to run around.

I would have liked to have spent more time here, but we had just finished dinner, and stopped here for the view and a bit of walk...in the rain, in the dark.... was beautiful even then with the waves crashing on the rocks and the lights across the way....can't wait to go back!!!

The view was very nice. A small but accessible park with a few benches. A great 270 degree view of the water that was just outstanding. The fort itself was very neat to see.

Needs to be restored - interesting and would be well worth it! More info about the place on site would be great.

Not large, but an interesting place to visit, with an historical perspective and a beautiful spot to sit and look at the bay

Marblehead is one of five places that lay claim to being the birth place of the Navy. Fort Sewall, formerly an armed fort owned by the United States and used to defend against British invaders, is now a beautiful park in Marblehead with magnificent views of the Harbor.
