Preemier yoga teachers and researchers are here. Enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the oh so delicious meals served here. The grounds are spectacular any time of year, with views that are wondrous to behold. Facials, massages, hikes and a lake to visit all while staying here. Make it your first stop for true rest and relaxation, and upliftment. You... More

I have always thought one should practice what one preaches. This of course is elemental to practicing love and compassion as advocated by the Dalai Lama. This is a university of healthful Buddhist and Hindi practices. There are some excellent teachers here. Choose carefully.

If you are interested in yoga, meditation and healthy eating, this is a great place to go. My wife and I spent a day here. We are not regular practitioners of yoga, but we both enjoy it when we can. The excellent food is served buffet-style. It is made of fresh and often local and organic ingredients. Ingredients are spelled... More

I've just spent a week at Kripalu, my 12th visit in the past several years. The country's largest holistic center for yoga and health, Kripalu can be calming or envigorating, educational or just plain fun, a personal and silent retreat or an active group event. It offers high quality professional trainings and a wide array of workshops that vary from... More

I have just returned from my 3rd trip to Kripalu and am already looking ahead to my next visit! What an amazing place for restoration and growth. I have participated in programs in digestive health, yoga dance and somatic psychology. Kripalu offers top-notch programs for personal and professional development. Or you can go for an R & R retreat. I'm... More

Just returned from a weekend R&R program at Kripalu, and it was just what I needed to recharge! The grounds and views are beautiful. I wish I was able to spend more time outdoors, but I also tried to participate in the programs offered. I enjoyed several yoga classes, all led by knowledgeable, compassionate instructors. I attended some of the... More

Dear friends, Kripalu is a very nice place to do yoga, get an incredible good massage, enjoy your day and also to visit many different seminares around yoga. Or even become a yoga teacher, the training and style of kripalu yoga seems very profound and healthy to me...but i am just a little yogi type person ;-) For me it... More

I attended a weekend here and really enjoyed it. Some negative reviews I had read here really made me think twice about going, but I really wanted to hear the retreat leader (Geneen Roth) so badly that I decided to sleep in my car if necessary! I don't know what happened to cause such negative reviews, but I had a... More

This is not a resort in the traditional sense, but if you are looking for a place to nourish the soul, then this is a great choice. We weren't sure what to make of the place when we first arrived -- the grounds are stunning, the building is ugly, and the check-in was a zoo -- but once we got... More

I was in residence for a month and the staff were friendly, many of them volunteers. Outside of the program I was registered for, I was able to experience other classes and they were quality also. The dorms are an inexpensive way to stay but be prepared for bare minimum amenities. I stayed in a large dorm with 20+ beds... More
