Dropped In and Loved It

We were walk-ins, and everyone was very friendly. The setting and views are fantastic in the Berkshires. Lunch is very healthy. Healing Arts are the focus here.

I took a 5 day course called 'Yoga for Absolute beginners'. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the beautiful setting. Hundreds of acres of green, forests, lakes, & mountains. The staff are friendly & professional and the accommodations are nice & clean. Not many amenities here like TV's but that's the idea. A peaceful, calm place to... More

A jewel in the Berkshire Hills. The perfect place for self awereness, self reflection and self renewal. The Kripalu has a wonderful assortment of activities. I treated myself to a Rest and Relaxation weekend and returned to my normal routine completely refreshed, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I enjoyed Yummy vegetarian food and came home with healthy cooking ideas to incorporate... More

Just returned from my second visit to Kripalu. A lovely oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life. Attended the annual weekend workshop given by Master Paulie Zink, Founder of Yin Yoga, one of his rare East coast trainings. Kripalu brings a wonderful diverse group of teachers to their center. Combined with their own teacher trainings in yoga and... More

This is my 2nd visit to the centre. Last time was 5 years ago. Still very impressed. Great program they have. I joined their Hike and Yoga workshop. Leader was great. Fantastic hike in the area. I was impressed that they provide the bug spray, the sunscreen, the hiking sticks and even raincoats! Free wifi, free locker. The gift shop... More

My 2nd trip to Kripalu for yoga and meditation. The teachers are among the best in the US, with considerable experience and unique views on their special healing arts. The food is amazing - fresh lentil tomato soup, salads, hot foods and four types of bread with every meal. If you want or need the healing arts, this is a... More

Preemier yoga teachers and researchers are here. Enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the oh so delicious meals served here. The grounds are spectacular any time of year, with views that are wondrous to behold. Facials, massages, hikes and a lake to visit all while staying here. Make it your first stop for true rest and relaxation, and upliftment. You... More

I have always thought one should practice what one preaches. This of course is elemental to practicing love and compassion as advocated by the Dalai Lama. This is a university of healthful Buddhist and Hindi practices. There are some excellent teachers here. Choose carefully.

If you are interested in yoga, meditation and healthy eating, this is a great place to go. My wife and I spent a day here. We are not regular practitioners of yoga, but we both enjoy it when we can. The excellent food is served buffet-style. It is made of fresh and often local and organic ingredients. Ingredients are spelled... More

I've just spent a week at Kripalu, my 12th visit in the past several years. The country's largest holistic center for yoga and health, Kripalu can be calming or envigorating, educational or just plain fun, a personal and silent retreat or an active group event. It offers high quality professional trainings and a wide array of workshops that vary from... More
