After getting their catalogs for years, and being so attracted to the interesting and offbeat sounding programs, we finally went. I have to say at the outset that we were on a commuter plan, being so close, so we did not stay. Others have talked about the rooms, though. The facilities are very good, but be prepared not to have... More

Went to the Kripalu Center for an appointment for Positional Therapy. I was skeptical, but it has really helped me. The therapist gave me some exercises to continue and I feel so much better.

Simple rooms to encourage a retreat from the world for revitalization and renewal and self-review activities. Highly recommended for anyone and all ages. Yoga throughout the day. I highly recommend the noon yoga dance. So invigorating. The grounds are beautiful. Walk down to beach beautiful. Walk back from the beach terrible. Should have golf carts to bring people back. I... Step out of your frantic life and reconnect with who you are. This is a special place, with gifted teachers, totally approachable yoga for any level, and pleasant camaraderie that will take you out of your routine. It only takes a few hours to melt into this place... and you will wish it could last forever. I can't wait to... More

I have been to Kripalu on two separate occasions. A simple place with various accommodations - private, shared and dormitory style. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is not the room that makes this place so special. It is the class offerings, the atmosphere of warm and acceptance and the healthy food that makes this such a... On my recent NY business trip I had a weekend to spare and a friend convinced me to spend it at Kripalu (about 2 1/2 hours drive from NY). It could not have been a better decision. I am not a serious meditation or yoga devotee, but even by pacing myself and taking 2 or classes each day was absolutely... More

I love Kripalu - it's a wonderful place for some R&R - to restore, renew, and enjoy the good food and good company, along with first class yoga classes. You can do a program but I generally go for the R&R program, which means you can take an unlimited number of classes. The food is very good and the rooms... More

Though I can only visit Kripalu once or twice a year, I am grateful every day of my life just to know that it will be there when I return! If you are stressed out, feeling low, on top of your game, or in-between - and are interested in mind-body-spirit work - there is something here for you. If you... More

I can't say enough good things about Kripalu. I have been to Kripalu when it was an ashram about 20 years ago. Recently, I came back. The place is very modernized, but the essential principles are still the same. I was supposed to stay originally for 5 days, but I extended my stay 3 times!!! I just couldn't leave. The... More

I've been attending 1-2 programs each year at Kripalu for the past few years. Their programs vary in quality depending on the presenter, but their yoga classes are consistently among the best and available throughout the day for all levels of practice. Their food is beyond compare! Love, love the organic, locally-produced foods. They always have something for everyone, though... More
