If you like yoga and are flexible in the type of yoga you prefer, this is a great spot. The accommodations are fair and the place looks a bit like a hospital but they are clean and the food is pretty good. If you prefer alignment based yoga (Iyengar), this might not be the place for you unless there is... More

If you are into Yoga and/or Meditation this is THE destination. Known throughout the world as a Yoga center. the location and views are stunning. Beautiful landscaped walking trail and breathtaking view from the summit. Kripalu offers lodging, food, and classes at all levels of yoga practice. This is serious business for the initiated , but offers a lovely casual... More

Kripalu is a wonderful experience. The experience is only enhanced by bringing your own pillow (they must sell a lot of massages with those pillows) and instant coffee just in case you get up before the cafe store opens. The grounds are beautiful and the food is delicious. This is not a hotel, but a retreat. Like a year-round adult... More

I was thrilled to get a free upgrade from a mountain view room to a lake view room for our Thanksgiving visit. This enabled us to enjoy the spectacular full moon on Thanksgiving eve and the gorgeous sunrise over the Berkshires for the next two days. Many thanks to Kripalu for this thoughtful gift. The food was fantastic and the... More

I live in Rochester New York and have visited Kripalu three times. My experiences have all been different, and enjoyable. I've done their "Retreat and Renewal" and it's exactly as stated. The options are yoga, spa, lectures related to living well, solitude, and wonderful food. You can experience it at your own pace. Kripalu is located in Lenox, Mass. which... More

I enjoyed my third trip to Kripala. It is an amazing place to pause and enjoy life, with friends, family or by yourself. I have enjoyed the high end rooms in the Annex to private room to the dormitory style. The latter is my favorite as the price is reasonable and it is a great way to meet some wonderful... More

Kripalu is a very special place for rest and renewal. I have been there many times with my dear friend and every time is different. You can stay for a long or short visit, even a day trip. Make sure to walk the grounds and enjoy the magnificent food. The classes are terrific, accommodations, sparse yet perfect, lots of restful... More

Apologies in advance for the long review.. I have listed all of my tips together at the bottom of this post. Hope you enjoy this amazing opportunity for self-care as I do. As I began to explore a meditation practice and restart my yoga practice two and a half years ago I found Kripalu and was so happy I did.... More

Terrific classes; mediocre venue. There are many pros and cons to this facility. I came here for a yoga class, and found it to be a lovely and relaxing retreat, and just what I needed to repair after the death of my father. The class was wonderful, including the free yoga classes included in your program. I stayed in a... More

As a local one of the many benefits of living is having Kripalu just minutes away. I've done unstructured retreat days that have been rejuvenating or just gone for a massage. I will admit that some of it and and the visitors are little pretentious and it can be touristy in the summer. That is when I just go for... More
