Very nice walk but didn't see much wildlife. We got there around noon and the no one was in the office. We registered and left our fee but there were no trail maps available. The trails are well marked but you really need a map. Later in the day someone was in the office and we were able to get... More

The most frustrating trail marking system I've ever seen. All the trails marked blue out, yellow back the map not to scale. If you bypass the office, you're sunk, as 3 ladies who were walking in circles for 2+ hrs with zero idea how to get back told us. Still, great hike up the mountain, by a rushing stream, and... More

They charged us $5 a person to hike but al though the trails were well-marked, the trail they suggested for us was blocked off with a tree having fallen to block the path and cones/sawhorses preventing our passage so we retraced our steps. And a Day Camp was running races up and down in front of the entrance to the... More

We took what they referred to as the easy way to the top which was still a challenge. There were some places that you had to cross water by stepping on rocks. Other places you had to climb up a few feet of rock. Really had to be careful but it was well worth it. The area is beautiful and... More

Lovely place to visit, with interconnecting trails to make the walk as long or short as you wish. Keep track though, or you might be caught in an endless loop. Very easy walk for any age, not demanding at all, but quite lovely

This place is great but please be well informed before tackling Ledge trails to the top of Lenox Mountain. The trail is very steep, requires grabbing roots, full of leaves (slippery when wet!), seems endless (and least to me!!) and there is NO turning back once you have gotten into it. Okay, let's just say turning back is not is... More

Loved the scenery and view from the fire tower top. Relatively easy hiking anyone should be able to do. Plenty of maps and marks for the trails. Loved the wildlife seen,

Perfect for families! Many easy trails. We went when there was still lots of snow on the ground, but it was a beautiful sunny day and we had the place to ourselves. Wonderful to listen to the water bubbling all around us in the many streams.

Great flat trails and more challenging ones. A snowshoe heaven! Great birding. Wonderful for an hour hike or an all day excursion
