For great kayaking drop your kayaks in the river at the Ipswich town dock. From there head left. Within 1/2 an hour (depending on the tide) you'll be at the mouth of Fox Creek (on your right, 200 yards before the entrance to the ocean). If you're into canoeing or kayaking and are in the Boston/North Shore area, be sure to try out the Ipswich River at some point. It's classic New England scenery all the way.
