So many different shops, gift shops, joke shops, clothing stores, specialty stores. Many different foods, ice creams, candies, drinks are offered on the "strip" and you can dine indoors or out. Lots of hotels, inns and motels. When I come here I spend all day. Great for all ages.

We visited P-town, Sandwich, Chatham, Falmouth, etc. while we were in Cape Cod, and Hyannis was the least pleasant of them all. Our favorite on Main Street was Allium, which is a cute store. We had lunch at Rendezvous Cafe, a pleasant looking cafe. The crepes were just ok. We quickly ran out of things that we wanted to do... More

Some great stores mixed with tackey t-shirt shops. It's worth the trip and fun for people watching. Parking is plentifull on North street which funs behind the stores.

This is a pleasant street. There are plenty of places to eat or have a coffee. It is a bit touristy but still very nice.

Although they are trying to make Main Street nicer by putting up nice street lights, it doesn't work if the negatives stay. I work on Main Street in Hyannis, so see it every day. As for restaurants, they are not very good IMO. Box Lunch is good for a sandwich and sometimes they have great specials, Meatloaf, Lasagna, and so... More

If your visiting the cape and are staying in a mid-cape area, it is worth the walk. A Few good places to mention. Common Ground café, excellent, affordable food, and it is an experience in itself. Next door, the British Beer Co., excellent, family restaurant during the day and bar atmosphere after 10 pm. Tim's Used Books- Can find some... More

This was my second trip to Main Street in the last 3 years. Most of the shops are the same and are what you expect from the Cape - cute and filled with all kinds of little treasures. We did stop at a nice dog bakery place (Pup Cakes) and my wife had a very enjoyable conversation with the staff... More
