Great for an after dinner walk with all kinds of shops and certainly ice cream parlors for that perfect summer evening.

A good mix of shopping, eating, souvenir shops on Main Street. Lots of candy and ice cream places as well. A little something for everyone. Everything from t-shirt shops to fine jewelry and a lovely scrimshaw shop, The Black Whale Gallery, which had a lot of beautiful work.

The town street is a mixed bag of good and ba restaurants. Some of the side streets still look a bit sketchy.

Main Street Hyannis is a toxic mix of the drug addicted homeless, drug peddlers providing dope for them and others, and welfare zombies going to the Welfare Megaplex. And there are HOARDES of homeless in this summertime Mecca, and as one would expect low level street crime is rampant. There's a reason that Hyannis is called Brockton By The Sea.... More

Fantastic place. Great to take a stroll with the family. Lots of little shops. Loads of places to eat and even an arcade for the wee ones. You can overdose on souvenirs and t-shirts here and they won't break the bank.

Main Street in Hyannis is very quaint with lots of great little shops to visit. Great restaurants with out door seating too.

I must say, I was disappointed with the High Street and most of Hyannis as it was not the quaint, Cape Cod / New England town I had expected. I had expected architecture more link you can find in Newport, but the town generally felt soulless and more of a utilitarian hub.

Streets were filled with trash.Dog poop on sidewalks. Many stops were closed by 7 Pm on a Sunday night. We were very disappointed in the Hyannis downtown area.Looked for a liquor store but closed was 10 blocks away. Had been there before years ago and shops showed pride in their displays. This night wasn't one of them.

I love Hyannis and I enjoy the shops and restaurants on Main Street, but you need to be careful there. There seems to be an increase in homeless/drug addicts roaming the area. We went to the 4th of July parade and had our chairs out and when my husband stood up to go for a quick look at the parade,... More
