What a quaint little church. Our hotel was within walking distance; and, having read about this church in advance of our trip, this was already on our list for Sunday Mass. The locals are very hospitable and the church is in fabulous condition. If you are in the area (and especially if you have the opportunity for Sunday Mass) this... More

Very conservative. If that's your cup of tea, go for it. If you remember the changes that Vatican II tried to put into place in the 1960's, you won't find them at St Francis.

This Church is on the JFK walking trail thru Hyannis. It was the Kennedy family Church and you can see pictures of JFK and his family attending Mass here. For many years, Rose Kennedy would worship here. Besides being very historical, it is an active Parish Church beautifully kept. I attended the Sunday morning early Mass. There are alters to... More

Beautiful older church. This is a functioning Catholic church, not a tourist stop. Beautiful side altars to Mary and Saint Anthony of Padua. The sanctuary area is incredible. Art deco and federalist style. Jesus in priestly garb and arms stretched wide in blessing! That blew me away!

This church is a wonderful, quaint, typical catholic church that was the main church for President John F. Kennedy's entire family. The pew where the president used to sit is marked. Most of the Kennedy weddings, baptisms and funerals are held here. The chuch and the grounds are immaculately kept up. A nice place to visit for everyone.

We attended the Saturday evening vigil at St Francis Xavier. The church has maintained its original style but has been completely refurbished. The church interior is beautifully maintained. the mass was simple and the people were very outgoing.

We year rounders here on Cape attend or belong to several churches. Small town in the winter. We like variety. But our favorite one is this one. Most of us were raised Catholic. I remember when Mass was in Latin. Its a lovely church.

Though a service was being conducted, we were able to enter and view the spectacular interior of the Church - nothing like that is built today.
