Nice view of the ocean--yet to the right is a huge beach parking lot. This was a shock. Just a wall with a big coin of President Kennedy's face. No visitor center or a series of interpretative signs with information of the Kennedy years on Cape Cod. More

The JFK memorial is simple and peaceful, with a good view over the Hyannis harbor and a nice rose garden. It is a good place for quiet contemplation and remembrance. Considered a must-see stop of any Cape Cod tour. More

The memorial was a bit more understated than I would have suspected it would be. We were glad to see it. The backround is quite charming with some lovely homes surrounding the water and we were lucky enough to catch a magnificent sunset. More
