respect

This part is a nice spot to show respect to those who have fought for our rights around the world. The park is simple but the message is strong and bring it to the heart.

You can enjoy the beach, grill up something for lunch and also see the war memorials all at the same location.

To trash everywhere. Your review is misguided. The park isn't officially open for the season until the first of May and the entry fee is not applied until the Memorial Day weekend. Access to the park is year round for parking and beach gazing the ferries to and from the Islands. The sunrise here is a spectacular sight to see.... More

Park was open. Rest rooms were locked. Picnic table area was disgusting. Trash and garbage strewn all over the place. No sign of any clean up attempts. If the park can not be kept up, it should be closed to the public.

We go year round no matter what. But it is a favorite spot to picnic in the warm weather. All my friends come here to swim and play or just sit.

This is a great beach for families with young children!!! It's a small beach with a playground across the parking lot. We were there in late August. It wasn't crowded & we happily spent the entire day there. The water isn't deep & it's relatively flat for a long way out. Since it's essentially a harbor, the water isn't rough... More

This memorial park is located on the shores of a popular beach, so parking could be hairy at times. However, this is a free, open-air, memorial park in memory of the Korean War and those lost during the battle(s). This is a very inspiring and somber memorial for an important time in American history. It's also accompanied by the John... More

History always tells a story. This one by the seaside was very real. The landscape and memorials were put together with much thought and design.

Very poignant and thought provoking. The siting of the memorial in such a beautiful place and in close proximity to the memorial to JFK makes it all the more touching.
