The view is amazing and the park is beautiful, clean and the beach is great. The JFK Memorial is very quietly moving, alongside the Korean War Veterans memorial and other memorials - a wonderful and peaceful spot to reflect.

Nice beach for swimming , and the washrooms are always open, through out the year, at least till late afternoon. You can walk all the way to Kalmus Beach from there. In the summer time there is a snack bar also open. A lot of family go there to use the bbq's and have picnics

This attraction should be considered with the Veteran's Park and the JFK memorial as all are interconnected. Not a major spot but a good place to get away from the visual distractions and sometimes crowds on main street. Good place to sit and think or walk (but watch your step, lots of goose crap).

Nice beach area with benches to sit and the park overlooks the water. We had great weather and were able to visit the memorial and the beach.

A small, peaceful park. We enjoyed this park briefly after viewing the JFK Memorial adjacent to the park. There is a lot of goose poop on the grounds.

I decided to visit this park due to the great reviews. I drove into the park. I sat in the car a few minutes. There wasn't much to the park. I expected more than what was actually there. My visit was in September so it was pretty quiet.

Being that we had a week-long pass for all the Barnstable beaches we were able to drive into and see several different beaches. Veterans Beach was our least favorite by a landslide. We seriously don't recommend going here unless you are meeting with a large group of friends/family and intend on BBQ'ing. The beach is not pleasant to look at... More
