Hi-speed or regular speed, ferries are comfortable, with snack bar; comfy seating (you can easily stretch even long legs). Great jumping off point to Nantucket. Free shuttle to bus and weekend train to Boston.

We took the ferry to Nantucket and even though we went for the early deal (first ferry) it still seemed quite expensive and however the ferry was fast and had free WiFi.

We took this ferry from Hyannis to Nantucket round trip, which was $138 for my daughter and me. We arrived in Hyannis by bus from Provincetown and weren't sure what to do when we arrived at the bus depot, but their customer service directed us to the Steamship Authority phone, which alerted them to send a driver to pick us... Conveniently tickets are available online and even save a little. The ferry is spacious and seating is pretty comfortable. Looking ahead, seats face each other and there are tables in-between, some seats without tables seats and a few off the back of the ship. All enclosed with A/C, the ride went very fast for nearly an hour's distance. There is... More

We took a rental car over. Be sure to know that they will not drive a rental car on and off the ferry. Also know that they will charger you $35 to drive the car on and $35 to drive it off if you are not going with the car. They didn't tell us that we could drive the car... More

The Fast Ferry to Nantucket was so fast and efficient... If you get your tickets on line and it says 'boarding pass', you still have to go the ticket office to get an actual ticket. We took the 8:15 am out of Hyannis and the 8:45 pm back from Nantucket. Lots of comfy seats, food, and television.

Traveling to ACK on business, get to the terminal expecting to get the 11am fast ferry. The place is packed, and I had a feeling. Got to the front of the line and the grumpy old ticket seller "Steve A" mumbled out "Sold Out". Bummer I said. He stands and just stares at me. So I grab a schedule and... More
