Excellent service and a clean boat. I'd use this company again. The location was walking distance from our hotel.

We walked on the ferry to Nantucket. The staff took our luggage and held it until we boarded. I thought the layout of the ferry was nice. Quiet areas, wifi, the cafe serving adult beverages as well food and snacks. Pet friendly in most areas. Nice to have the option to sit inside or outside. What a beautiful ride with... More

Use this ferry over the years, always clean, on time, felt secure and safe, just park your car early at # 3 and walk just 5 minutes to the ferry. Highly recommended to those who would like to see the Beautiful Island of Nantucket.

We took the slow one because even though it's cheaper than Hy-line, the fast one is still pretty steep. But it wasn't crowded and there were tons of seats- the cafe looked nice too, and it was air conditioned. Left and arrived on time.

This ferry was a great way to experience a day or two in Nantucket. During the summer season you should arrive at least an hour early in order to secure parking and your choice of seating (indoor or outdoor). It was a very fast and smooth ride. Besides the free WiFi, there was a snack bar on board which offered... More

We enjoyed the ferry trip over to Nantucket (July, 2014). Very efficient and the ferry was neat and clean. We took the fast ferry over and was at our destination before we knew it. The only problem is the parking situation. The parking lot near the ferries were full so we were directed to park off-site which was ok until... More

Our first round trip on the fast ferry to Nantucket was surprisingly good considering the large summer crowd using the service. We purchased the tickets, which were on sale with very little wait and boarded like cattle but found great seats. The ferry was clean and fast. As a bonus, we found free parking in the shade on School Road... More

So we purchased tickets in advance and still had to wait in line to check in?? Why no scanner or kiosk at entrance? The counter staff are arrogant and ignorant! Have you ever been to a DMV counter? Well these folks are worse!! The curbside service was great! Friendly and helpful! When I told counter staffer it took 3 hrs... More

I travel on and off the island several times a year, all year around. I have used this boat service before and always had problems, but I've never waited this long for someone to just answer the phone. I was on hold for 15 minutes to reserve a ticket. 15 minutes is UNACCEPTABLE. When I complained to the ticket office... More

I always travel with the Steamship Authority when going to and from Nantucket by boat. It can be a little crazy during the summer months, but if you reserve a car spot early enough you can avoid the hassle of standby or drive-on/ drive-off. They do a great job working to make sure that you and your belongings reach the... More
