One of the oldest continuously-operating tent theaters-in-the-round in the US, along with our sister venue the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset. A 2,300-seat summer, open-air theatre that hosts national artists and comedians on a revolving stage. No seat is more than 50 feet from the stage!

This is a perfect summer night! What can be better? Warm night, happy crowd, Beach Boys! They have great performers and the setting is the way that you can see them form any seat in the house.

We went to the Melody Tent to watch Loretta Lynn, and totally loved it. Since we were staying in Hyannis, it literally took less than 10 minutes to get there. Parking was easy. There is a very large lot at the venue, where they pack the cars in, in long lines. Luckily we were number one in our line, so... More

We try to get to the Melody Tent at least once a summer, with our busy schedule it is hard but well worth it. The Melody Tent has such diverse calendar of music, comedy, etc that it's always a fun night out. This past Saturday 8/22/15 we saw Jeff Foxworthy. I just love him, a real class act comedian -... We saw Blackberry Smoke perform on the 19th of August. Wow ! If you want to get up close and personal with an artist, this is the venue for you. Not a bad seat in the house. Even the nose bleed seats are within 50 feet of the rotating stage.

Great seating - not a bad seat in the house. Parking is great easy access in and out. Beverage prices a steep, but comparable to any other concert venue. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms.

We have attended 2-3 concerts each of the last 5 summers and have not had a bad evening yet. The venue is basically an outdoor venue under a tent. It can be loud, it is affected by the weather (last night was extremely humid), The stage slowly rotates so you may have a rear view of the performers but wait... More

There's nothing like seeing a concert at the Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA. As a small theater in the round every seat feels like you could reach out and touch the musicians. We saw the Beach Boys last week and enjoyed every minute. We always try to sit in section C although the stage moves around so everyone gets to... More

My daughter and I went to see the Beach Boys Saturday evening. Behind us was a row of very drunk friends who couldn't stop shouting profanities to each other, laughing, singing along, spilling drinks, etc. At intermission, I spoke to one of the ushers and asked if she would speak to them. She initially blew me off and said that... More

Having been to many concerts over many years, Hyannis' audiences are the most rude. Needed to change seats 4 times as nearby "concert goers" simply talked away during the shows, bothering their fellow attendees. I'm spending my money to hear the music, not to listen to you talk and talk. Talk pre-show and post-show. Didn't their mother teach them manners?... More
