This was ok - a fun, walk through, self guided tour of the potato chip factory. Free admission. Informative signage. Cool looking machinery a chips on conveyor belts - sealed in the trademark branded bags at the end of the production room. Cute little gift shop with free little bag of chips at the end.

We stopped here on our way from Cape Cod to Boston. Interesting tour that allows you to watch through the windows as the chips are being made. You walk through the gift shop at the end but we did not feel pressure to buy anything. We enjoyed the free bag of of potato chips. The entire thing took about 20... More

Luckily my expectations were set ahead of time that this is not exciting at all. You walk down a hallway that looks into the factory where people are working. There are signs along the way to inform you. No photos allowed. Sort of lame gift shop at the end. Free bag of small chips.

We had a rainy day during our week in Cape Cod so thought we'd tour the factory. We waited outside for 45 minutes in a downpour. The tour consists of a long hallway with a few picture windows where you can see the equipment working. There was a gift shop at the end with a few flavored chip varieties to... More

This is a self-guided tour and will take about 15 minutes tops, unless you are ultra-fascinated with the factory machinery, which is actually pretty interesting. Staff is very friendly and will ask if you have any questions along the way. You can get a small bag of potato chips for free in the gift shop at the end of the... More

Have been on a few brewery tours where they take you around, discuss the brewing process and then let you have some samples at the end. Based on the reviews, I assumed this was the same thing. When we arrived we learned there was no guided tour. You enter the building, walk down a long corridor that has windows to... More

I have never had the opportunity to visit a potato chip factory so while in Hyannis I had an opportunity to stop by. You can smell the potato chips when you drive in. The tour is self guided, but there are plenty of signs throughout the tour that explain what is going on in good detail. The best part about... More

It's a very simple walk through self guided "tour". And when I say tour, I mean a hand full of signs describing the process of making chips and popcorn. And a series of windows that look like you're viewing the plant through chicken wire. No one from the factory said a word. Not even the woman behind the front desk.... More

I wouldn't necessarily drive two hours to see this factory, but since we were vacationing in the area we just had to stop by. It is quite interesting to see how these tasty chips are manufactured, and at the end of the tour they give you a snack bag. Kids will probably find this interesting, too.

This is a good place to spend 1/2 hour if you're in the Hyannis area. It's a short free self-guided tour. You enter and walk through to see how they make the chips. At the end, there's a gift store and you get to grab a small bag of chips. You can buy flavors that may not be in your... More
