Brief and cursory tour

Would have liked to get a more detailed info than the posters provided. No break on cost of chips at the gift shop, got a discounted price at Stop and Shop!

The factory tour is self-guided and you essentially walk down a corridor lined with windows that provided a glimpse into the production process and posters that explain the process. Corridor couldn't have been longer than a hundred meters and the visit could be completed in 5 to 10 minutes. Gift shop wasn't much but you could get various flavours of... More

If you like Cape Cod potato chips and would like to see where this product is made, then I recommend the tour. It is a self-guided 5 minute tour. Walk in one door and out another door and you do receive a sample size bag of chips. I rate it a 3 because there is not much to this tour... More

The tour is fun and interesting, kids really love it! You can't always see everything clearly and every day they are doing different things, but it is a unique activity, quick and fun with a free sample at the the end.

This was a quick tour on a rainy day. It's a self guided tour and only took us 30minutes to walk through and visit the gift shop. You also get a small potato chip bag at the end of the tour.

self guided tour, not real long. My kids enjoyed this a lot though. It was a great activity to do on a rainy day, and you get a sample at the end.

Home of the famous Cape Cod potato chips, this plant on the north side of Hyannis near the airport is special. The self-guided tour allows you to follow a potato from its initial washing and peeling through its slicing and cooking to its salting and bagging in preparation for shipping. The wide windows allow a pretty good view of the... More

If you don't want to talk to anyone and see little, this is perfect. While we are glad we visited, it was less-than-satisfying. Essentially, you will file through a hallway with windows on one side where they are making these awesome potato chips. It was cool to see them frying away and the packaging but that's really it. No staff... More

We enjoyed taking his little self-guided your yesterday. It was fun to read about the factory and see how the chips are made. At the end of the tour there is a cute gift shop where you can buy the chips, tshirts, etc. The tour and gift shop probably didn't take us 20 minutes but it was a fun activity... More

It is always fun to see how something us made and this was no different. It is a self guided tour, but does give you an opportunity to see the process of how a potato chip us made.
