This is a self-guided tour where you read about how the chips are produced and watch the process first hand through windows that overlook the production room. We go every year. I just asked my daughter (now 22 yrs old) if we were going this year and her response was "ummm, yeah! We go every year, right?" Free snack size... More

This is a free, self guided tour watching the potato chips being made. Basically you are given a handout, walk down a hallway with windows, reading the captions of what is going on behind the wall. It is a quick tour that ends in the gift ship where you can take a small bag of chips with you. It is... More

We had a rainy day on our vacation and thought this would be something to do. It only takes about 15 minutes and it's just a self tour. Free chips at the end in their store.

We added this into our day thinking the weather might be rainy. Since it was in our route we kept it on the sunny day. Not hard to find. It is a just walk in the door free self tour. You look in the windows at the potatoes being washed, graded, sliced, fried, dried, and conveyed to the bags. You... More

Great little spot, fun to see how it is all done. It is not a tour, it is a walk down a very short hallway with signs you can read for information. You might even see a worker or two, but this is not really a tour. Free sample of chips on our way out.

Keep in mind, the factory tour is free. It's nothing fancy. You walk down a long hallway and look into windows of the factory making the chips. There are signs posted along the way that explain the process and some interesting tidbits to read about the company. Depending on how long you watch the chips being made, it might take... More

Huge fans of the Cape Cod Chips, and we probably consume a huge bag every few weeks at our house.... So a side trip while visiting Boston / Cape Cod area was a no-brainer! The little factory tour did not disappoint. Very cool as you walk through and being able to see all the various stages of chip making from... More

This is not a tour. It's a walk down a hallway - self guided of course. Depending on when you go, you may see employees making chips and you get a free small bag of chips at the end of the hall.

We went on a Friday and were disappointed because the plant shuts down on Fridays in the off season. We were able to walk through this very short self-guided tour, but nothing was running. Strollers are not allowed indoors so carry the little ones! And don't plan on spending too much time is is a VERY short walk through the... More

It is just a quick walk down a wall of windows to see inside the factory with signs along the way. They do offer a tiny bag of chips at the end inside the gift shop. If you are a fan of the product, or you are really looking for something to do, then go ahead, but don't expect anything... More
