I thought we would see a lot more during the "tour" of the potato chip factory. The only thing I saw that had to do with the chips was when they were moving on a conveyor. I was hoping to see how they became chips from start to finish. There was signage that offered interesting facts, but I would not... More

We went for a free tour after visiting the Cape Cod Beer tour. It is just down the road from Cape Cod Chips. The tour is self guided and only takes about 10 minutes. It would have been nice to have a guided tour to know more about the machines and process but it was still a free activity on... More

During a recent trip to Cape Cod we happened to find out that Cape Cod Potato Chips had a factory tour, and we immediately changed our plans for the day. However, a walk down a hallway really doesn't make for a good factory tour. You had to read the signs and then look into the plant at unlabeled machines, hardly... More

On the walkway signs on the way in Cape Cod Chips let you know which chips are being made that day. The tour is a self-guided tour and takes less than 30 minutes depending on the speed you go. You only get to see a fraction of what is going on, but hey for free you can't complain. The posters... More

It was so cool and the both of us are adults and found it very interesting. I have a new outlook on the cape cod chips. Talk about a clean facility! 5☆ in cleanliness. The staff was pleasant as well. Free to add to it; you can purchase products at the end and even got a baby free sample of... More

A really lovely way to spend half and hour if you are passing nearby. Our family loved this little 'stop off' and were delighted with the free sample of chips at the end! This factory takes great pride in its history and reputation and this shows as you walk down the observation hallway viewing the factory processes. A lovely gift... More

My son was so excited for this trip from the moment he heard we were going to Cape Cod. We had a good time reading all the facts and watching the batch of chips be made. It was a little crowded but it wasn't too bad. You also get a complimentary bag of chips at the end.

So this isn't the most exciting factory tour I have ever been on, but I enjoyed it. If you are in the area, it's cool to go through and read about how they make the chips and the history. At the end, you obviously get free chips to try which was amazing! I loved the chip store as well because... More
