This is such a nice little diversion for the Cape visitor, especially on a rainy day. Self-guided tour can take as long or short as you want. The younger kids should like the way the machines work (the conveyors, the fryers and the assembly line). Finally, you can't beat the samples on the way out!

We've been eating Cape Cod chips now for some years and they are hands down our favorite side with burgers or sandwiches. So, when I took the time to read the back of the bag and saw that they actually offer self-guided tours of the factory, I said, "yeah! let's go!" We went off season (mid-November) and there was virtually... More

We try to go to the Cape at least once a year. While there we visit the chip factory. There self guided tour can get quite busy at times and while short it is fun to look in on the whole chip process. At the end you get a small sample bag (maybe two?) And there is a gift shop... More

This is a fun tour for youngsters and folks from out of town. It's easy to see all of the machinery. It's free and there are chip samples and souveniers to buy at the end of the tour. The tour is self-guided and parking is a breeze.

We always stop by the chip factory while in Cape Cod. It's a self guided tour and it's pretty short, but you can't say no to free chips at the end. We usually make a day of it. We go to the factory and fill our bellies with chips and then head over to the Cape Cod Brewery and sample... More

Well, I was so happy to be able to go to the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory since I love their chips. Was very disappointed!! Arrived and parked in their parking lot, had to walk around the entire building to the other side to enter. Once you entered there were a few signs as to what you needed to do... More

If you're in the area you should stop here. If you can get in there by 10 am and do the tour it should take 20 minutes to park your car, walk to the factory, walk through the tour and see chips being made from potatoes in 1 room, grab your free chips from the gift shop box, and return... More

Interesting to see process from start to finish, even if it only takes 5-10 minutes to observe. Best part is when you dump out through the gift shop. Smart business here!

Visiting on Cape Cod in the Hyannis,MA area, we were told about a tour of a potato chip plant. Finding the facility wasn't that easy since our GPS kept malfunctioning. Plant in a rather rural location. Enter one end of the bldg and follow signs down a hallway with large windows on one side. Poster signs described what was happening... More

Ok potato chips. Walk at your own pace tour looking Thur windows. They were making little bags the day we walked thru.
