an inconvenience but for a short time you are pushed out by the incoming tide, but overall it is not crowded, lots of facilities, and very clean.

Parking is not easy if you want to go where there are less crowds. We took a chance and parked across from the beach near and entrance to it and got lucky. The water was not bad and the views are nice. A few smooth rocks here and there, but not a big deal for the kids..wear your fip flops.

Great for long walks with plenty of room to explore. Comfort facilities are well-placed so that even the weakest bladder never needs to get nervous.

There is no beach at high tide so definitely check the schedule. Beach is dirty/ trash ridden at some spots. Overall has beautiful views.

There was no soft sand and the beach was quite rocky. Much better beaches in other parts of the state...

The beach was small and very rocky, very crowded and you can only get a spot at low tide. High tide forces you off the beach. I would not go back to this beach to swim, but only to walk on the boardwalk.

This was a good walking beach, not too crowded - at least this time of year - beginning of June. We enjoyed walking the length of the beach, and the people were quite pleasant.

I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon, at the start of a long business trip in the US after a recommendation from the hotel concierge. I arrived just after the carp parking charge applied which was 4pm I think, saved me $10! The beach is dark grey sand and it is very fine and the beach is quite hard underfoot.... More

In mid-March there were only a few other visitors to the beach which made it fantastic for those long philosophical / romantic beach walks we all love from time to time to clear the mind and heart. The sand was firm making it safe for seniors to walk and for jogging, etc. yet a pounding surf to delight the senses.... More
