Grew up going to this beach every summer with the brothers and cousins and friends and everyone else I know. Have a special love for this beautiful strip of beach. Not as pristine as Crane or Cape Cod beaches, but fantastic and easy to get to from the city. More

First off Nantasket WAS AT ONE TIME a HOT SPOT. The park is gone the welfare state is a real presence. Restuarants are a bit expensive. No major highways other than 3A to get to No Where. The food is very good. The portions are good also. The waitresses and the bartenders/waiters were very friendly. The atmosphere is also very nice, quiet and comfy. More

Long beach to walk and usually has waves. Its clean and has a small park for kids. Mostly for families. At one time there was an amusement park, but that is long gone, and mostly condos now. I use to live here, so consider it my beach, and try to get down here everytime I am in the area. More
