Soon after moving to the area we sought out this spot on Route 5 where dinosaur prints had been discovered during the construction of that road. it looks like a simple turn off with parking for three or four cars and is easy to miss. We wandered down the path to "discover" for ourselves the prints left 200 million years...

It was a fun and educational stop for my six year old who had been in the car for about four hours. We discovered the dino prints then walked along the CT river. The park could use some more preservation and parking is very limited.
