This tour could be rated anywhere between 5 and 1 stars. Really, it's just a drive round a scrubby field and a look at some old equipment. There's not much of real interest to see for your dollars. That's the 1 star bit. What could make it 5 star is what others have said - the geniality of your host,... More

We are always on the lookout for tours that show how things are made or grown. This fits the bill. It was very interesting to see an organic farm in action. It is hard, back breaking work with a lot of rules to follow that ensure the cranberries can be certified as organic. The explanation of the life cycle of... More

Andrea was a wonderful host, friendly and informative. The full cycle of a life of a Cranberry Farm in addition to a tour of the farm, gorgeous lake, and animal nursery. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and also the little gift shop. We purchased Andrea's delicious organic cranberries and they lasted us for our three month tour of Eastern Canada... More

Forget about the Ocean Spray guys up to their hips in cranberries in a flooded bog. The Cakounes family will give you the real scoop (pun intended!) about growing cranberries in Harwich, Massachusetts, where commercial cranberry production first began. This small, family-owned farm is the best place to learn about every aspect of growing certified-organic cranberries. On the day our... More

A bit off the beaten track -- not a beach or restaurant or anything touristy -- and not something just for families with young children. The tour of the cranberry farm was wonderful. About an hour long, led by the owner, informative, fascinating. Spoiler alert -- it looks nothing like a cranberry juice ad on TV (as if that should... More

Andrea's tour of her farm and cranberry bogs is fabulous!! She knows everything cranberry, and her engaging manner keeps everyone on the tour interested. Riding along in Andrea's "Bog Bus/Cranberry Coach," participants learn about cranberry farming month-by-month. Visits with and stories about the farm animals are sprinkled liberally throughout the tour. Anyone who is interested in organic farming, the farm... More

This was a really interesting and fun tour for everyone. Don't be looking for the Ocean Spray commercial. This is real life. You really get to appreciate the work behind organic cranberries and you learn where white cranberry juice comes from. There are animals and even the teens were impressed. Whatever you do, DO NOT use your GPS. There are... More

The tour lasted about an hour and a half. Much of the time you are in a small school bus. It is not air conditioned so skip on super hot day. Andrea gave an excellent, educational and sometimes funny tour of their organic cranberry operation. I learned a lot. In addition to cranberry's you get to see farm animals (up... More

We visited here last October and I just came across the flyer for this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Cape Cod. The jolly lady who guided the tour on the tour bus was very knowledgeable and kept the interest going from start to finish. Four of us took the tour and loved it. Thank you very... More
