What an amazing experience. Mind you, don't expect to see whales breaching out like you see on commercials and brochures. That is a once in a lifetime sight. Nevertheless, it is a experience worthy of your time. The crew was friendly and will do their best to look for the whales they have food and snacks to purchase on board,... More

We booked a whale watching tour with Capt. Bill and Sons Whale Watch. It was an amazing adventure. The tour was 4 hours long. It took an hour to get to the whales' feeding area where we were not disappointed. The very knowledgable guide told us about the different types of whales and where to look for them. At one... More

Capt. Bills is a great whale watching trip. We saw lots of whales off Stellwagon Bank. The captain of the ship drove up close to the whales so we could be a part of the pod of 5-6 whales. The crew was very informative and answered all our questions. We stayed among the whales for about an hour and a... More

we loved the whale watching trip on 7/17/14. We had reservations for 7/16. I called in the morning and was told the trip was still on.. a few hours later they said the fog moved in and our afternoon trip was cancelled....was very pleased with the advanced notice as we had a 2 hour drive there. I asked if we... More

Me and my family went on a whale watch on 7/1... the water was very choppy that day, but it didn't ruin our trip at all! The trip last 4 hours and went out approx. 30 miles...we seen several whales and took several pictures...it was a great trip, that me and my family will never forget!

Great adventure! friendly crew and always willing to answer questions and explain more. The captain took extra time to look for whales, rather than heading back. Great time spent! definitely would go back again!

While planning our Mother/Daughter trip the week of June 15,2014, I bought a whale watch groupon for Capt. Bill and Son's. It was basically a bogoI. I like to save as much as possible. We went the morning of June 19, I do believe, and we were not disappointed. Almost immediately we saw the majestic Humpback whales and they put... More

I am fairly sure I could write the same review, perhaps, for some - if not all of the whale watch tours in the area. The difference with this I believe is that Capt Bill and Sons is partnered with the Blue Ocean Society, who specialize in the Marine Biology aspect of the whales. I see this as both an... More
