Recently we sailed with Capt. Bill & Sons while in Gloucester MA. Mother Nature cooperated with a beautiful day and calm seas. The boat is clean and since capacity was only about 2/3 of what it could accommodate there was room enough to move about freely. There are bathroom facilities and a small snack bar. The boat is well maintained... More

Long ride (2 hours)out to skellwagon basin off the coast of ptown. Watch closely for minke and fin whales on the way. Once we got there, we watched 4 different whales for about 40 minutes. Awesome creatures quite close to boat. Really cool experience. Bring snacks and sweatshirts. There are also some snacks available on board. I brought an umbrella... More

Took my daughter and her 2 friends on their first whale watch while visiting from Florida. I grew up in the Gloucester area so I use to go on the whale watches as school trips. We had a great time. It was a bit chilly out on the water but that was to be expected. We were able to see... More

I would love to give this attraction a raving review, but in all honesty, I can't. Recently, I was told that Plymouth, MA whale watching tours were outstanding. I wish I had heard this before going to Capt. Bill's whale watch. The ride wasn't bad at all. Eventually, I got my sea legs back and we did see some whales,... More

I was a little skeptical about the 100% whale sighting guarantee, but as soon as we got to the whale watching site, we immediately saw the whales. They were with our boat for a full two hours. They were approximately within ten feet of out boat at one point. I highly recommend this adventure!

This was our second trip with Capt Bills. Crew are great, very knowledgeable, and the boat is spotless. We spent a lot of the trip following 3 humpback whales - amazing! Take plenty of warm clothing though as even though there is indoor seating we spent most of the time outside which can be very chilly. We also took motion... More

Took trip on morning of October 10th, 2014. Glorious day, calm seas. Sighted 6 Hump Back whales and a seal. Very informative commentary from the crew. Lots of great photo's from our 4 hour trip. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

We got to see 4 whales. Captain Bill & his team made it possible to get as close as he could so we could see them up close. There was whale that breached so many times that made the trip very worth while. Even though it was chilly we forgot about the weather bc these whales were putting on a... More

We went on Saturday 20 Sept 2014 on the 2pm trip and had a great time. I would highly recommend it. I wil definitely go on this trip again. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The sea was really choppy but we had taken anti sickness pills (which I would also recommend doing) and felt fine the whole time.... More

Unfortunately the day we went it was cool and raining. I thought it was going to a horrible time but it wasn't.....it turned out to be a fantastic day. The ride out there was long but I still enjoyed it. We were inside the boat so the rain and cold didn't matter much and it wasn't even that choppy so... More
