We did the afternoon trip. Had to wait about 45 minutes for the boat to return from the morning excursion. There is a restaurant and public restrooms right there next to where you wait and a few little touristy shops. Such a cute area. The boat has restrooms in the back and also a small snack area (chips, soda, water).... More

We boarded and were viewing whales in the wild within 45 minutes. The staff was very knowledgeable and spotted the whales and gave their locations. Very nice trip.

A professional company. We booked on the day, it being a quieter time of year, so had the advantage of picking a nice day. We went with the view the only guarantee was a boat ride, as these are wild animals. Took a tip of taking a book in case it was a long trip with nothing to see. But... More

Great whale watching experience. The crew was very professional. Explained what we were seeing and what the whales were doing. Saw 6 whales and they did deep dives and breeching. Wonderful "show" by the whales!

Five Humpbacks frollicing (literally), a couple Minkes and one large Fin whale earned the price of admission. First class treatment by crew and narrator during trip. My son (8) and I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. 130pm Saturday sail. I had done this trip three years before and this time was even better. Small snack bar with soft and adult drinks.... More

Excellent whale watching experience. Highly informative commentary on a well equipped and modern boat. We seen ten Hump Back whales, several Minkys, a blue shark and several seals. The crew do everything to ensure that you get good close up sightings and keep you well informed. A really memorable experience -with some great images to take home and show the... More

I was recently on the Privateer 4. How lovely it was to be out on the ocean visiting the other world that we just don't ever see. To be in the world of our ocean cousins was fantastic. I have had the experience of seeing these creatures in captivity but once you see them in their own habitat (and not... More

My wife and I signed up for this excursion hoping to see some whales but realizing that this wasn’t the zoo so we might not see any. We made up our minds that we were going to enjoy the trip no matter what. We were not disappointed. It was smooth sailing on a beautiful sunny day. The crew was friendly... More
