7 Seas Whale Watch was fantastic. Everything from the people to the boat to the whales was great. Normally the boat goes out 12 miles and you see whales. Since we were not seeing any we kept going out until we found some. And we saw LOTS of them, 28 in total. The most impressive was 2 whales came and... more

We booked with 7 seas whale watch after looking into several in the Boston area. I was thrilled when they said they would accept my infant son on board, which meant I could go too. I had been told no by another place. We went on the morning run, on July 28/09 . We had a nice morning for it,... more

Thought I’d add another positive review to the ones posted here -- as well as a point or two that I didn’t see mentioned here. The biggest reason that I reserved space on board with this company in the first place (versus the other Cape Ann whale watch companies) is that even though they require a credit card to hold... more

I took a 3.5 hour drive to take this whale watch. I did this on July 11. The whales were extremely active, tail lobbing, breaching and flipper slapping. It was tons of fun. Yea the seas were a little rough but its the ocean. I am riding again on September 5th. more

Incredibly courteous, outstanding whale watch company. Yes, they are willing to wait for latecomers - as one of the staff patiently indicated to an indignant gentleman on our trip yesterday, "wouldn't you want us to wait for you?" There can be significant traffic in the summer approaching Gloucester and even those leaving plenty of extra time can be caught offguard.... more

My second Whale watch, but first with this company. Every thing was perfect! The staff was very friendly and very knowledgable. I liked that the boat was not overcrowded. The Captain made sure both sides of the boat had a chance at prime viewing, but no matter what side the whales were on, everyone had a great view. I also... more

Capt. Paul decided to hold the boat (filled with over 100 passengers) for a late-comer. 7 Seas requests you arrive 30 minutes early, yet one 'gentleman' was 20 minutes late and the Capt. decided to sacrifice the time of all the other on-time passengers by holding the boat for one customer who then drove up and was granted a premium... more

A family booked on the whale watch and, traveling in two different vehicles, were separated by traffic coming into town. I came in telephone contact with the father of the family while our naturalist was giving her dock talk (which preceeds our departure from the dock.). The mother and four children who were at the whale watch were afraid he...

We went out July 31 and had a fantastic whale watch, even though the weather was dreary. The crew were wonderful and helpful, and the boat was comfortable and clean (even the bathroom, which was always stocked with tp and paper towels). Even though there were some green-looking passengers, we never saw any evidence that anyone had beens sick. Crew... more

My grandchildren can't wait to go whale watching every summer. This is our 3rd year in a row and they can't get enough. It's always great fun to watch these magnificent animals and to see my grandchildren so amazed by them. Very nice boat, nice and knowledgeable staff. Take a sweater or sweatshirt....it can get a little cool on the... more
