My husband had never been on a whale watch and for our wedding anniversary I booked the 1:30 trip with Yankee Fleet on 7/8. From about 1986-1997 my parents took me on a Yankee Fleet Whale Watch every summer - it's one of my favorite childhood memories. I wanted this to be a grand experience for my husband; it did... More

We had pre-bought tickets a couple of months ahead and decided to go at the end of September. The day we reserved turned out to be blowing pretty hard and they called us early in the day to let us know it was cancelled. We went back and forth on rebooking the following day, but decided at the last minute.... More

Very informative and fun trip. Captain and crew take the time to protect the whales and give those aboard a great experience. We have been boaters for amny years but the naturalist on board was well informed and we learned alot. Gloucester is also a very good stop with good food at the Causway and an easy walk to see... A perfect weather day. A clean, comfortable boat. A pleasant, informative crew. A great setting to visit New England's biggest residents. Whales and more whales. They are here to breed, care for their young and, I'm sure, to revisit old haunts. But for how long? Take the time to share this treasure with your family and yourself. Don't let it... More

The one thing I wanted to do on Cape Ann is go whale watching. I wasn't disappointed. The staff at Yankee Whale Watching was knowledgeable and friendly. We chose the four hour tour and motored out on a small vessal that seemed slightly larger than the whales we would see. Once floating, we were seemingly surrounded by whales...there was even... More

On 6/1, my husband and I were aboard the Yankee Fleet Clipper with Capt Josh at the wheel. During one of the earlier stops, the bite was on for many of us. One older fisherman was struggling to reel in what turned out to be a 19 pound cod. Capt Josh coached the gentleman while politely clearing the stern, then... More
