Description: Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed...
Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed whale sightings for every whale watching tour out to Stellwagen Bank, a national marine preserve about 12 miles off the coast of Gloucester deemed one of the "Top 5 Whale Watching Destinations in the World" by the World Wildlife Fund due to the wide variety of whale species whom migrate to the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts every year to feed on the abundant natural resources. We provide the best whale watching in New England as it's an awe-inspiring experience which every human being should have the opportunity to appreciate. We make it a very special event. For over 35 years, Cape Ann Whale Watch has been dazzling whale watching enthusiasts with sightseeing tours aboard the largest, fastest and most elegant whale watching vessel in Massachusetts, north of Boston, Massachusetts aptly named "The Hurricane II" due to its immense size and speed as it descends upon its destination. Cape Ann Whale Watch's patrons have the opportunity to spend a lot more time with the whales than with other whale watching companies in Gloucester MA since "The Hurricane II" gets to the whales' feeding grounds with much more expediency as well as traveling home faster, therefore more time is actually spent observing whales including but not limited to Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Northern Right Whales, Pilot Whales, Northern Right Whales, Sperm Whales, Sei Whales, Blue Whales (The Largest Whales in the Seven Seas yet seldom seen around Gloucester MA), Fin Whales, Atlantic White Sided Dolphins, Harbor Porpoises and whole host of other fascinating marine creatures as we deliver the best whale watching excursion in Massachusetts. "The Hurricane II" boasts 115 ft length with over 400 ft of whale watching room from the railings of the upper and lower observation decks for optimum whale watching conditions. There is a heated, furnished indoor cabin with a full service galley serving hot meals, snacks and cold beverages as well as a fully stocked bar with local brews, popular beer, wine and mixed drinks. Cape Ann Whale Watch is truly the finest whale watching tour in the Boston MA area offering the highest level of quality, comfort and service at the cheapest, most affordable price suitable for any family entertainment budget whether on vacation or a day trip. We offer AAA discounts on the adult tickets. We also offer reduced rates for seniors, children and military families. We go where the whales go. Our vessels communicate with each other as to the location of whales so we will go anywhere to see them on the North Shore or South Shore of Massachusetts including off the coast of Boston, Massachusetts: Salem MA, Newburyport, Cape Cod, Hampton NH, Rowley, Rockport MA, Danvers, Peabody, Swampscott, Revere, Winthrop or wherever else the whales may roam.

We did a morning tour on a Tuesday. Went way out and got to see five humpbacks. Captain stayed out with the whales for a LONG time. It was INCREDIBLE. Crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. Seas were smooth and weather was great. I would do this again in a heartbeat. The whales swam right under the vessel and we... More

Wow what a great experience. We went out on Saturday August 29th @ 8:30 am on the Hurricane II. Went about 28 miles out and we saw 4 very large humpbacks a momma humpback and her calf. They were so amazing and so unaffected by us being there. The Boat, captain and whole day was fantastic. But I have to... More

This is well worth the money - we did manage to get a groupon for $29 each which was a great saving as there were 4 of us. It was a very foggy afternoon and we were rather worried that we wouldn't see whales. The journey out was made much quicker by Cindy and the crews excellent talk and information... More

This was the best whale watch that we had ever seen. The weather cooperated this time and it was the best ever. We had seen plenty of activity and the crew kept us informed as to were to look constantly. It was a fantastic time out to sea.

Crew did a good job. Boat is big and comfortable. They do a good job with whale education and they got us within about 150 yards of whales. We got a better rate by using a grupon on internet.

The price is $48 but with the groupon it was $29; either way it is well worth it. The total trip, officially 3-4 hours on website, was 5 hours, told to us by our guides in advance of departure because the whales were further out than usual. There were tons of whale sightings, maybe about 20 or 25. Half of... More

We went out for a 5 hour fishing trip with Captain Nick and mate Caden. We caught our limit on Haddock, really nice size as well. We also caught a few cod and released and red fish. There wasn't 5 minutes when our lines were in the water when we were not catching something. Captain Nick saw a waterspout and... More

Went on the Saturday morning trip 830.. Wasn't too crowded.. Took quite a while to get there(seemed like 90 minutes to 2 hours) Little bumpy but no sickness.. Wife was thrilled to see the whales and had quite a bit of surface activity, enough to make it worth while.. Ride back took about 100 minutes.. got back into port right... More

Went on a afternoon cruise on a Thursday. Had a Groupon. Easy parking. Big boat. Bathrooms and galley but you can also pack food and drinks. Saw a bunch of whales. Naturalists were helpful.
