Highly recommend. We saw lots and lots of whales, more than I was expecting, and I enjoyed the the narration by research scientists who were very knowledgeable. The seas were choppy the day of my trip due to high winds, and most of the young kids got seasick, as well as some adults, but it was a great experience nonetheless. more

The crew were very knowledgeable not just in whales but they knew these particular whales by name and could identify them by their tails..They knew how long they've been around and sometimes evemn who their parents are.. We have been on over 10 whale watches and Cape Ann was definately the best. Not only did the captain go out of his way (25-30 miles) so that we could enjoy the Whales. There were 30 Humpbacks right near the boat. We didn't know which way to look, they were everywhere. We stayed a good hour with the whales.... more
