Description: Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed...
Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed whale sightings for every whale watching tour out to Stellwagen Bank, a national marine preserve about 12 miles off the coast of Gloucester deemed one of the "Top 5 Whale Watching Destinations in the World" by the World Wildlife Fund due to the wide variety of whale species whom migrate to the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts every year to feed on the abundant natural resources. We provide the best whale watching in New England as it's an awe-inspiring experience which every human being should have the opportunity to appreciate. We make it a very special event. For over 35 years, Cape Ann Whale Watch has been dazzling whale watching enthusiasts with sightseeing tours aboard the largest, fastest and most elegant whale watching vessel in Massachusetts, north of Boston, Massachusetts aptly named "The Hurricane II" due to its immense size and speed as it descends upon its destination. Cape Ann Whale Watch's patrons have the opportunity to spend a lot more time with the whales than with other whale watching companies in Gloucester MA since "The Hurricane II" gets to the whales' feeding grounds with much more expediency as well as traveling home faster, therefore more time is actually spent observing whales including but not limited to Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Northern Right Whales, Pilot Whales, Northern Right Whales, Sperm Whales, Sei Whales, Blue Whales (The Largest Whales in the Seven Seas yet seldom seen around Gloucester MA), Fin Whales, Atlantic White Sided Dolphins, Harbor Porpoises and whole host of other fascinating marine creatures as we deliver the best whale watching excursion in Massachusetts. "The Hurricane II" boasts 115 ft length with over 400 ft of whale watching room from the railings of the upper and lower observation decks for optimum whale watching conditions. There is a heated, furnished indoor cabin with a full service galley serving hot meals, snacks and cold beverages as well as a fully stocked bar with local brews, popular beer, wine and mixed drinks. Cape Ann Whale Watch is truly the finest whale watching tour in the Boston MA area offering the highest level of quality, comfort and service at the cheapest, most affordable price suitable for any family entertainment budget whether on vacation or a day trip. We offer AAA discounts on the adult tickets. We also offer reduced rates for seniors, children and military families. We go where the whales go. Our vessels communicate with each other as to the location of whales so we will go anywhere to see them on the North Shore or South Shore of Massachusetts including off the coast of Boston, Massachusetts: Salem MA, Newburyport, Cape Cod, Hampton NH, Rowley, Rockport MA, Danvers, Peabody, Swampscott, Revere, Winthrop or wherever else the whales may roam.

We took the 10am tour on a Thursday after only just arriving in time before it left due to bad traffic on the way. I'm so glad we made it as the boat trip was amazing! The trip lasted about 4 hours and we saw lots of whales close to the boat, even some baby whales swimming alongside their mothers... More

Our Cape Ann Whale Watch started with a Groupon purchase and ended with seeing some of the most incredible animals in person. There is a reason this group guarantees that you will see whales on your trip. They study and document the whales in their surrounding area and use informative scientists to guide you through your trip. These trips are... More

We were lucky not to get the rain checks. I heard that some others who had taken their tours earlier could not spot any of the animals due to bad weather and visibility. we were lucky to not only watch a few whales, moving around and playing with the plankton, but also a shark that swam quite close to the... My daughter and her BF were up for a visit, we had never been whale watching before so we decided to give it a shot. What a great decision. It was cold and foggy, but the web site warned us to dress for cooler ocean weather. The fog was thick all the way out to Skellwagon Bank, but Captain Johnny... More

We went out on the first trip of the season (April 18th) and it was incredible. First of all, people need to read their website - where it clearly states to expect temperatures 14 degrees colder then on land...follow those directions and it was great. Captain John took us right to the whales and because it was so early in... More

We have gone on many whale watching trips; summer and fall.. I keep going back to Cape Ann whale watch. The boats are comfortable. The staff is very knowledgeable; teaching us and the kids about the whales and the ocean... it is always a great day. We see many whales and it is a fun boat ride too.

We've gone on this whale watch for 7+ years. at least once a year. and every time its amazing! the people are great. Between the enthusiastic captains, and the educators that walk around the boat and talk about the whales you see you can't get better. The hurricane II has two decks, upper and lower, you chose where you want... More

I can't say enough Good tings about our trips and the Staff. If the Sea's are Rough, they call and give me the option of Canceling "becase of the Seniors". If we get there and they cancel because of Rough weather, they give a raincheck. When we do go out we always see Whales. Their Staff are informative and accomadating. They... More
