Cape Ann Whale Watch travels out of Gloucester which is the closest whale watch port to Stellwagon Bank - a major feeding ground for humpback whales. Less travel time equals more whale watch time. Cape Ann Whale Watch did not overcrowd their boat. They were turning people away on the day we went out, so I assumed the boat would... More

They dont overfill boats like other boats we saw. Lots of education for adults and kids on the way out to whale feeding grounds and back to shore. Used a groupon for 8:30am trip.

Cape Ann Whale Watch was great! It took us a bit over an hour to get to where the whales were (14 miles off the coast) and about the same time to get back. We spent almost 1.5 hours watching the whales. We saw two different species and several different whales. The whole experience was a bit less than 4... More

This was our first time whale watching. We had a groupon for $29.00. Even at full price it would of been a great time. We saw 20 different whales. 5 moms with babies! The whales seemed to be everywhere. They even moved the boat around so everyone got a chance to see the whales. Enough seating for everyone. would definitely... More

My wife and I were on the 08:30 boat Wednesday July 23rd, it was her first whale watch trip. It was absolutely amazing, we saw at least eight different whales, close up and doing all sorts of jumps, rolls and the like. Even the crew members said it was one of the most energetic displays they'd seen in some time.... More

This was our first whale trip -- and I'm sure won't be the last. It was amazing. The crew was just as excited as we were when we saw the whales and not only was it a "fun" trip, but educational, as well. You can tell that they really care about the whales. We totally recommend this company and if... More

This was our first whale trip and it was fantastic! We have 4 kids ranging in age from 7-15 and we all had so much fun! I was worried about our youngest getting seasick, not the case. Very easy boat ride out to where the whales were and boy did we get a show from them! The educational aspect was... More

This was our first time going on a Whale watch. I researched this sight on Trip Advisor and a few other web sights to make sure that Cape Ann Whale Watch was a good choice. After reading and checking out the sights the decision was made to purchase tickets on line from their web site. My husband and I decided... More

This tour was amazing. It took a little while to get started. They should have done the beginning speech while the boat was going it was a lot of talking. Once the boat started the water was very choppy and the fog was very thick. After going out about 13.2 miles the whales were everywhere it was a nonstop show.... More

Myself and two of my friends just recently went on a whale watch with Cape Ann Whale Watch! I had previously been on whale watches out of Boston, Massachusetts and I have to say that this was the best one BAR NONE and BY FAR!!! It was a constant viewing! There were so many whales around us that you really... More
