Description: Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed...
Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester, Massachusetts provides guaranteed whale sightings for every whale watching tour out to Stellwagen Bank, a national marine preserve about 12 miles off the coast of Gloucester deemed one of the "Top 5 Whale Watching Destinations in the World" by the World Wildlife Fund due to the wide variety of whale species whom migrate to the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts every year to feed on the abundant natural resources. We provide the best whale watching in New England as it's an awe-inspiring experience which every human being should have the opportunity to appreciate. We make it a very special event. For over 35 years, Cape Ann Whale Watch has been dazzling whale watching enthusiasts with sightseeing tours aboard the largest, fastest and most elegant whale watching vessel in Massachusetts, north of Boston, Massachusetts aptly named "The Hurricane II" due to its immense size and speed as it descends upon its destination. Cape Ann Whale Watch's patrons have the opportunity to spend a lot more time with the whales than with other whale watching companies in Gloucester MA since "The Hurricane II" gets to the whales' feeding grounds with much more expediency as well as traveling home faster, therefore more time is actually spent observing whales including but not limited to Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Northern Right Whales, Pilot Whales, Northern Right Whales, Sperm Whales, Sei Whales, Blue Whales (The Largest Whales in the Seven Seas yet seldom seen around Gloucester MA), Fin Whales, Atlantic White Sided Dolphins, Harbor Porpoises and whole host of other fascinating marine creatures as we deliver the best whale watching excursion in Massachusetts. "The Hurricane II" boasts 115 ft length with over 400 ft of whale watching room from the railings of the upper and lower observation decks for optimum whale watching conditions. There is a heated, furnished indoor cabin with a full service galley serving hot meals, snacks and cold beverages as well as a fully stocked bar with local brews, popular beer, wine and mixed drinks. Cape Ann Whale Watch is truly the finest whale watching tour in the Boston MA area offering the highest level of quality, comfort and service at the cheapest, most affordable price suitable for any family entertainment budget whether on vacation or a day trip. We offer AAA discounts on the adult tickets. We also offer reduced rates for seniors, children and military families. We go where the whales go. Our vessels communicate with each other as to the location of whales so we will go anywhere to see them on the North Shore or South Shore of Massachusetts including off the coast of Boston, Massachusetts: Salem MA, Newburyport, Cape Cod, Hampton NH, Rowley, Rockport MA, Danvers, Peabody, Swampscott, Revere, Winthrop or wherever else the whales may roam.

We have gone on many whale watching trips; summer and fall.. I keep going back to Cape Ann whale watch. The boats are comfortable. The staff is very knowledgeable; teaching us and the kids about the whales and the ocean... it is always a great day. We see many whales and it is a fun boat ride too.

We've gone on this whale watch for 7+ years. at least once a year. and every time its amazing! the people are great. Between the enthusiastic captains, and the educators that walk around the boat and talk about the whales you see you can't get better. The hurricane II has two decks, upper and lower, you chose where you want... More

I can't say enough Good tings about our trips and the Staff. If the Sea's are Rough, they call and give me the option of Canceling "becase of the Seniors". If we get there and they cancel because of Rough weather, they give a raincheck. When we do go out we always see Whales. Their Staff are informative and accomadating. They... More

We went on the last watch of the year, unfortunately we did not see any whales, but we had a great trip anyway, the Capt. tried his best, but the whales just were not there. This was a fast boat with great staff.

Comfortable fast boat. experienced knowledgeable crew. the whales are such stunning creatures and it was a special experience being so close a great day. Food is ok but better to eat after you land. The chowder was very good as were the pretzels.

What a great experience that we were almost unable to do. We were planning on going to Portland Maine today so we're unable to do a late whale tour. Cape Ann was the only company to have a morning tour for Saturday so we have it a try. The crew was very knowledgeable and captain Johnny was great. We seen... More

This outfitter runs like clockwork, was easy and organized. I went with my kids (ages 12 and 9) and we were fortunate enough to see several humpback whales throughout the trip. The educators were knowledgeable and balanced, presenting information about the whales, conservation and local issues specific to Gloucester. Will most likely return next season for a repeat trip.

Great whale watching excursion and saw many dolphins as a bonus. Great for all ages. Guides were very knowledgeable on types of marine animals and where to find them.

Totally stunning, wonderful experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and professional and able to answer all our questions. To see animals so huge in their own natural environment was awe inspiring. The boat facilities were excellent and incredibly well kept. We felt very safe on the boat at all times, the Captain was clearly highly skilled. We were lucky in... More

Our original plan was to go on the early morning cruise but both cruises for the day were consolidated into one in the early afternoon. The weather was perfect (actually a little warm for the last weekend in September) and the ocean was flat and calm. We didn't have to go far offshore. We spent time watching a mother humpback...
