Description: Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, micro-brewery...
Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, micro-brewery and the home of Fisherman's Brew. It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s award-winning craft beers brewed on-site, with a bar shaped like the port side of a ship. Long, German-style wooden tables and a sitting area with several rocking chairs create a mellow, laid-back atmosphere unlike anything else in the Cape Ann community. Classic board games are available for leisurely enjoyment. Local artist renderings adorn the wood-paneled walls and the large picture windows look out onto St. Peter’s Square where the famed St. Peter’s Fiesta is held each June.

Ate here one afternoon while visiting the Rockport/Gloucester area. Beers were unexpectedly very good, sandwiches hit the mark. My mom had the clam chowder and absolutely loved it, has been talking about it ever since. We sat out on the outdoor patio, which has a view overlooking a working marina. We had our dog with us, and though the restaurant... More

We've been on lots of brew tours. This place was small, no big deal. Been to small ones. The tour guide was very personable. However, they didn't give any free beer samples. I was disappointed in that, even though I don't drink beer. We didn't stay for a meal, so I cannot comment on their food or prices. My husband... More

Thanks for the review Kathy...I'm not sure why you are under the impression that we don't offer samples of our beer as we certainly do whether you are taking a tour or not. As the tour itself is free we cannot offer free beers as that is illegal in Massachusetts but certainly you are welcome to sample any and all... More

$27 for a lobster roll! That's crazy. Lively place with a good selection of beers though. Its on the water in a nice walking part of Gloucester.

We Enron on a Saturday and got right in at the bar. It was busy but the bartender gave us quick service. We were right by the kitchen and it was nice to see the guy running the kitchen jumping on the servers for letting the food sit. He wanted it out as soon as it hit the window. I... More

Second trip there. Its just really good. Casual atmosphere w long wood benches to encourage bonding at table. A well versed beer selection that changes often . And the seafood Mac n cheese is really great and sized for sharing. Staff both times we have been there were effective and knew the beer selections well. Not fancy, but I encourage... More

I was the only one not drinking the beer. There were 9 of us& 8 of them got a flight of beer, so they were able to taste all of the beers offered. They were a hit. The food was delish. Blue crab sandwich was good. I had fish taco, very good. Fish and chips were good. I would suggest... More

Great pub, but does look more interesting and promissing from the outside. Not really cosy, but good enough for a night out. Nice beer assortiment. Would go there again.

I've been on a ton of whale watches with my family and every single time I have to go to Cape Ann Brewing Company and get a table sitting outside overlooking the harbor. Life is good! I love their food and my daughters Maya and Paige love it too! I've got some really great pictures of them with the Marina... More

This is a nice place to have lunch and their beers are really good! I was only able to have two and try a third, but they were all wonderful. That imperial pumpkin stout is great. Wish I had a growler of that!
