To be honest, I really had no major interest in whale watching. I assumed whale watching involved going out on a boat for a few hours, feeling a little sea sick, and maybe seeing a very brief glimpse of a whale from a distance. I was wrong. We made our plans to go whale watching early on. It was pretty... more

We had the pleasure of taking a morning excursion with Seven Seas Whale Watch. We found that the boat was comfortable and the staff pleasant. The naturalist was very informative and made the trip quite interesting. We were able to see 6 whales the day we went out. more

My wife and I went on a whale watch last week for her birthday, and it was incredible. These guys know where to find the whales. We saw many whales (the number was in the teens maybe?) and several came up right beside the boat. This was my first whale watching trip and I was so blown away. We also... more

I can't say enough about how incredible Seven Seas Whale watch was! My family and I were on that cruise and don't know what the woman on the last review posting is talking about. She must NOT be in a very good place in life to have been so obnoxious and even "booing" when the gentleman boarded. First of all,... more

This was our first time on a whale watch, and it certainly was fun, even though it didn't quite live up to our expectations. Our afternoon journey to Stellwagen Bank was about two hours which was fine on the way out but was excruciatingly long on the way back. While at the bank, we did see a large number of... more

I was went on this whale watching tour with my family. The waters were choppy and it was very foggy on the way out. Make sure you dress warm. We were on the earlier tour. I had jeans, 2 shirts and a jacket and i was still a little cold. I would also reccomend dramamine to avoid sea sickness. Even... more

The staff on Seven Seas is absolutely wonderful. They have a guarantee that you will see whales, but they don't take it as "oh, you saw one whale fifteen miles out there, so you're all set" like I thought they would. They actually went fifteen miles farther than they usually go just to make sure we saw whales, and, by... more

If you get the chance to go whale watching I totally reccommend a trip out to Stellwagen bank on board a Seven Seas Whale watch boat. The staff are helpful, friendly and really know their whales, our naturalist could identify all the ones we saw by name. Tornado was a big hit on my trip! The journey out to the... more
