Convenient

Parking for the whole day at $5 is a great bargain. Can't find that anywhere in Boston. Close proximity to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Having walked down Main Street we returned to our accomodation via Rogers Street. There was nothing exciting about this street, the backside of some main street shops and some restaurants. and access to CVS pharmacy and Walgreens. However, we did eat at the Topside Grill accessible from this street which was a very good eating place.

This was a great street to walk along and see the ocean We visited the Fisherman's memorial, and the memorial to the women. We continued our walk to the park, and enjoyed climbing up to see the cannons that protected Gloucester, and then over to the welcome center.

It follows the harbor and includes I4 C3, the vacant, city-owned lot with spectacular harbor views. At one end, St. Peter's Square featues a lovely harbor walk as well as the annual Fiesta carnival. And Harbor Loop is a right turn off... More
