Great little beach.

If your child needs to explore then this is the beach where they can do this and is small enough for you to relax while they do. It is one of the best beaches in the area.

This is a very small beach that offers lots of privacy. Not even very crowded on Labor Day. The rocks on the sides make it look very European.

small quiet with a great sunset. Not great parking. on a very busy road where everyone seems to speed. Minimalist baseball field across the street. port-a-poyyys on sight.

I visited this place for reasons of nostalgia since it's where my father swam when he was a child. It was recommended to me also as being one of the few beaches in the area with shade, which I appreciated. I got there very early and so had no trouble nabbing one of the prime parking spots and used one... More

Nice classic new england cove with old boats moored nearby. great place to paddle board from , but watch out for broken glass along pathways. went there three days in a row, and each time picked up handfuls of broken glass from beer bottles.

We rented a beach house within a five-minute walk of this beach, which was staffed with a lifeguard. It is particularly well suited for small children and was never crowded during our visits. There is shade as well, which is a plus.

Nice small beach away from the larger, more crowded spots. Beautiful sunsets, shore and seabirds. Life guard during summer. Parking is restricted. Easy wading for children and the elderly.

This beach offers beautiful sunsets! On a nice day you can see all the way to Maine! However the beach itself is "pebble" sand and is tough on the feet. Water shoes are strongly recommended. Most parking is for residents. There are very few public spaces.

I was born in Gloucester and now in my 40's I visited Plum Cove for the first time. Beautiful beach. Clean and calm water, I could almost fall asleep floating...
