A lovely beach with fabulous views of cliffs and off-shore islands. Like most of the beaches in the area, there is a lot more mud than sand.

Love this place. Never have the need to travel to another beach. Dog friendly on off season. Parking a bit expensive but worth it even if you're not spending the whole day.

This is a great beach for children. There was a pool of water near the entrance to the beach where many children played in the shallow water.

This picture perfect north-shore beach is framed on one side by a pretty island and the other with a peninsula with beautiful homes. We visited on an unusually warm day in late September and arrived before 10 a.m. When we left around 2 p.m., the parking lot was completely full. We have attempted to get into this beach in prime... Water was still warm to swim in September, fun watching the tide come in and finding lots of critters. The waves were beautiful as are the homes on the rocks. Very scenic. There needs to be more garbage facilities as teens left a lot of garbage on the beach!

Was my favorite beach growing up there. Nice sandy bottom and great waves. August and September are the warmest water months.

Absolutely beautiful beach, clean, nice and sandy, great view. Water can be chilly since it's right on the ocean but it's not too bad. Reasonable amount of surf for this area. People get in some surfing early in the morning before the main crowd of swimmers arrives. Parking is a problem as it is at all local beaches. Parking in... More

When I saw this beach a few years ago, I knew it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen. My opinion hasn't changed. We just came from there again. The sand is pristine, thick, white, and clean. The water is clean and was calm. I have seen it was the waves have been crashing ashore and its even more... More

We built sand castles, played in the water, walked to the island and hiked around, ate a picnic, flied kites, and kicked the soccer ball around. Our boogey boards got so much use in the water, they eventually bent in half! I suggest bringing your own picnic because the food is expensive and not nutritious, but the seagulls are courageous,... This beach is clean and has a beautiful view. It also has bathrooms and a concession stand. It was very close to Bass Rocks Ocean Inn but I also go to this beach on my own.
