I'm a local, and I go to Highfield Hall fairly often for art shows, concerts, food events, and most recently a Chamber of Commerce event. Highfield is a beautifully restored Victorian home with exquisite, original architectural details. It is impeccably well-maintained and managed. The grounds and gardens are lovely as well, and a favorite place for walks. Many private celebrations... More

Worth the visit, Highfield Hall is a beautifully restored mansion a short distance from the center of Falmouth Village. Functions are always changing there and the gardens alone are with the visit.

This is a very nice walk, a building with cooking classes, arts on the walls and history of Falmouth.

This historic building (a former mansion) is tucked away in the woods near the center of town. It is easy to find once you know what road to take (up from the bus station). The building itself has been restored with care. I gardens- especially the sunken garden- is worth the trip, and its free! Also, there are nature trails... More

This is a true gem in Falmouth. Many people spent countless hours and money to restore this mansion that was scheduled to be demolished. Now it is open to concerts, weddings, music, holiday events, all to the general public. They have children's programs, cooking classes, and art events. There is a new sunken garden there now which are beautiful. Truly... More

On my husband's B-day, we drove "to the Cape" because that is something I thought that people did "back east" for something special. It took longer than we thought and we did not enjoy the roundabouts on the way there or back. However, this house and garden was very nice. I loved the rooms, and the collections, as well as... Even though we have been going to the Cape for years we hadn't heard about this little known gem. Our daughter informed us that she wanted to check it out on while we were on Cape Cod this past week. The mansion was carefully restored a few years ago to its early 1900's splendor. The Beebe family built this place... More

Historical place dresses up for the Christmas holiday season although it avoids the word of (gasp) Christmas.

CLOC keeps a summer schedule of 10 different weekly Broadway musicals (well one is a G&Sullivan) with an orchestra, a company of surpizingly competent enthusiastic college students, and a commited management. You can count on at least 4 or 5 productions at the very highest level of accomplishment.

The senior volunteer was extremely polite to us, and we loved the interior of Highfield Hall. Could have spent hours and hours in the upstairs reading library, lots of interesting books there
