We had wanted to see this place for a long time & finally did. Its a really beautiful mansion. Love the architecture. The gardens are equally gorgeous. They had a fairy house display when we were there. Artists who made these were quite talented. No fee but just a suggested donation of $5.00. Great find & you can take pictures... More

This is a real gem. We visited during their Fairy House exhibit which I think ends September 2015. Our party (aged 7-76) all thoroughly enjoyed finding and looking at the 32 fairy houses nestled amongst the house and grounds. The setting is peaceful, tranquil and a refreshing reprieve from the beach. The house itself is air conditioned and is a... More

Eh...it's OK for a quick stop, but really not much to see. Not much to see in the house, and is a 5.00 a person donation. Would have been better if they gave a tour with more explanation. Nothing much to see upstairs...downstairs small, takes about 15 minutes to go through. Sunken Gardens are beautiful, although you have a lot... More

What a beautiful surprise. We came from out of town and saw that there was a free family concert. The music concert for the kids was great and interactive. The grounds are beautiful. My kids LOVED the place, especially the top-notch fairy house exhibit with over 30 fairy houses. (we went to smaller places around the Cape that in passing... More

I live close to this survivor. Over the past fifteen years I watched this beautiful home being transformed from an eye sore which was on the verge of being condemned and torn down, to the restored beauty it is today. It is truly amazing the efforts people of Falmouth have made to have this estate "saved" from the wrecking ball.... More

Great place to see just for Highfield Hall itself, but mix in the concerts and varied types of art exhibits and you'll be really wowed.

Highfield Hall is the restored summer home of the Beebe family of Boston. The home was built in 1878. Over time, it fell into disrepair and barely escaped the wrecking ball. It was completely restored starting in 2001. The history of the building with photos of the restoration is in a room on the first floor, and is, in itself,... More

We were at a wedding here and it was great. The grounds are lovely, you can walk around the hall. The dancing and music were inside, so if you needed quiet or to talk there were places to go. It was great.

We recently arranged and attended a wedding at Highfield Hall. From the front lawn where the wedding ceremony was held, along with the back verandah where the post-ceremony cocktails and appetizers were served to the dinner under a tent set across from the ballroom inside the house everything was just first class and beautiful for an afternoon/evening summer wedding. The... More

Highland Hall is a great historic building which mostly shows off diffrent artist shows. There is one room dedicated to the Beebe family which is very interesting. Otherwise there isn't much related to the family tha t used to live there. Outside there is a lot of art work which is interesting and gardens. Place is great for special event... More
