A short fun sailing trip. The owner and Captain of the schooner is very knowledgeable about the history of the Cape and Martha's Vineyard and puts all visitors on board through a little quiz while sailing and then gives you a brief history of the island and the Cape. They serve cocktails and have sunset cruises also. This is a... More

Want to see the best sunset ? Take a sail on the Liberte Schooner , the most fun you can have on the water. The captain and crew are the best , and you will more than enjoy your sail on the beautiful schooner.

Chris Tietge ( pronounced Tee gee) is the skipper of an iron schooner that he designed and built many years ago. There are 3 cruises every day out of Falmouth Habor from the dock where the Clam Shack is located. Chris will put you to work if you are able bodied and willing to help put up the sails and... More

If you are in the Falmouth area and looking for a great way to spend a few hours definitely check out Schooner Liberte! It is located on Falmouth Harbor and easy to find! They provide plenty of free parking onsite. Reservations are suggested as it can sell out quickly. After leaving Falmouth Harbor you head towards Woods Hole. This part... More

Excellent cruise. Runs July 4 to Labor Day each year. 10:30 AM cruise is $25.00 and the cost rises the later in the day you take the cruise. The sunset cruise is $45.00. Great Staff, Great Captain and a small bar service is available.

We looked forward to this and were not disappointed! We called for a reservation a long time in advance and the organization went well when we arrived. There were quite a few other passengers, but I think everyone was happy with their seating situation. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We chose the sunset cruise and experienced an amazing sunset. I would suggest making reservation in advance due to the high volume of requests for this time of day. We chose to sit in the stern (back) and found it to be very comfortable. Prior to boarding we picked up dinner and ate it on the schooner. They offer a... More

Great way to spend a few hours on a boat. Captian and mates are knowledgable and make a good rum special i'm told... I opt'd for the $5 Hienkien with one dollar complimentary can cooler :)... I was hoping for a cruise around MV but we just followed surf drive and then back to grand street and into port again...This... More

Our family took the sunset cruise and we all agree that this was the highlight of our vacation. The views were spectacular as we watched the sun set over the water, with beautiful relaxing music played in the background. The entire crew was friendly and attentive and the Captain was fun and personable. I have to mention that we ran... More

There's not much to this. It's a lovely schooner, and they take you out for a sail. Parking in their parking lot is well attended and organized. Tickets are for sale at the dock, but I'd recommend reserving a place by phone in advance. Depending on the wind, weather, and currents you sail around the coast and towards MV. Our... More
