This company, made up of college students recruited nationwide, offers 9 musicals in 9 weeks each summer. The quality of the performances is excellent! What an amazing feat! And this is the 41st year that this has been offered in Falmouth!

Seven family members ranging in age from 13-70 had a wonderful time at the company's production of the HMS Pinafore. The performers did a great job and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. If we were residents, I would get season tickets!

This 40-year young summer music theater attracts the cream of the crop among rising young performers. Each summer, for 9 weeks, they produce a different show each week with a full orchestra. We saw Gilbert & Sullivan's "HMS Pinafore" and truly -- no lie! -- enjoyed it more than many NYC Broadway shows we've seen. Tickets are modestly priced and... More

We saw Les Miserables at the College Light Opera Company. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The cast of young college student performers was amazing-- really strong, beautiful voices. The acting, orchestra, set design, costumes, and direction were all first rate and, frankly, much better than we were expecting from what we thought would be an amateur summer stock company... More

This is my third year with season tickets. Last night was "White Horse Inn". A thoroughly enjoyable musical which was very well done. It looks like another great season. Too bad the venue can't be improved. The seating is like a middle school auditorium in the 1950's. Horrible! Falmouth should do better......

My husband and I began going to CLOC productions in the early 1970s. In those days, all the performers were from Oberlin College, and the shows were mainly Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. The productions were enthusiastic and fun, but definitely on the level of good college productions, with only a few really strong performers. Fast forward to six or seven... More

We have 3 seasons of season tickets and these productions get us acquainted with high quality long running broadway shows of the older variety. These a wonderful well rehearsed weekly productions.

Full Disclosure: I was a member of the Company in the summer of 1971, and the producers are long-time friends. I sat in the house for the first time this year, and I can say honestly that the experience was great! CLOC is a very professional company, and the soloists were excellent. Definitely recommended for a night of musical theater.... More

our daughter got a lead role......but truly, both she and the entire production were excellent. Can't imagine a visit to the Cape without taking in a show while there.
