Very enjoyable trip to The Vineyard. The Island Queen was very clean, on time and perfect ride to the Island. Parking is short walk down the street for $15.00. There was plenty of parking for a beautiful Saturday morning. We took the 1030 am trip and it was beautiful. I would highly recommend this for a wonderful day trip to... More

We traveled to Martha's Vinyard on a pretty spring day. The ferry was quick, safe, and all the deck hands were friendly and helpful.

First time traveling to Martha's Vineyard. We decided to do a day trip using the Island Queen Ferry. We have used ferries before to travel in DE, NJ, and in Europe, so we were expecting a nicely run organization, which was not the case. First of all, when we arrived, 2 hours before departure, the parking lot was full. The... More

The island queen is a much simpler way to get to the vineyard for a day trip then the steamship authority. You can park within walking distance and be on board and underway in a very short time. You don't need a reservation and the trip over is just a short 45 min.It may cost a tiny bit more but it's well... Leaving from Falmouth is so much easier than going on the boat from crowded Woods Hole. Ample parking near the dock. Large vessel with snack bar. Keep in mind that going to Vineyard and back will consume a full day. Recommend taking a taxi from the dock on the Vineyard to Edgartown where shops and restaurants are better. Set a... More

The Island Queen goes between Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard. It is a quick 45 minute trip so I often go with a group of friends just for lunch. There is open and covered areas to sit and has a great snack bar onboard. Dogs and bikes are welcome and the crew is great. They make it so easy to get... More

We travel via the Island Queen at least twice a summer. To our grandkids, the trip is part of the destination. This operation is a great example of how to run a transportation business. First class all the way!

Its the only way from Falmouth Harbor to Martha's Vineyard. It's fast, efficient friendly with a knowledgeable crew. You can bring your luggage your bikes and your pets. Sit back relax have a snack a beverage or a drink. Parking is convenient the lot is right up the road if not its within walking distance from town. .

The ferry is always clean. The attendants are always pleasant. There's a bar and snacks. The schedule is adhered to. It's the best price from Falmouth. They've been doing this a long time.

Quick, friendly, inexpensive summertime service to Oak Bluffs Martha’s Vineyard. Sails directly from beautiful Falmouth harbor.
