We have taken the Island Queen many times to the Vineyard. The schedule is always kept and the crew is ok,don't see many. There are 3 levels,so you can be outside or not.

More costly than the Steamship Authority Ferry but more convenient, faster and worth cost. Can be indoors or outdoors.

We traveled on the Island Queen - great ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Great value for a quick trip to the island. The ferry was on time going to and coming back from the island. Never too crowded. Great views while traveling across the water.

Efficient, timely and quick and safe passage to Martha's Vineyard. Extra added departure from MV on Sunday worked out nice. Access to ferry parking easy and "somewhat" affordable with a short walk to the ferry. Very relaxing ride with great views of 2 lighthouses on the way into port.

It is a very short trip to MV, one half hour. They left on time and the place where they dock is convenient to the Island.

This is a easy and cost effective way to get to MV quickly during the season. Frequent departures from Falmouth provide great day trip access to Oak Bluffs and beyond. The boat is well maintained, clean and safe. It's a family operation that that has been in business for years. Parking is available near by at very reasonable rates.

Decided to try Island Queen ferry service for our first visit to Martha's Vineyard after tripadvisor recommendations.....we were not disappointed! Parking was easy, a short five minute walk to the terminal (and you can drop off luggage and bikes first and then park).....ferries left right on time and it was a nice 40 minute ride....no problems- very relaxing- no worries... $20 fare and an easy trip to MV. Comfortable ride. Nice waiting area for a local ferry. Staff was very pleasant.

You would think a ferry that has been in service for years would have the kinks ironed out of it! We went to Martha's Vineyard with our bikes. First of all- finding a parking space for your car is a NIGHTMARE!!! Allow at least an additional 45 min to find a place. We ended up parking far away and cycling... More

Love the Island Queen! Inexpensive and a great ride to the Vineyard. At times we go just for the ride and don't get off but stay on for the return. Highly recommend.
