I highly recommend taking the Island Queen to MV when you don't need a car and you just want the MV experience. With the exception of the walk from the parking lot it couldn't be easier. More

If you don't plan on bringing your car along, this is a fast clean and pleasant way to get to the Vineyard. It docks in quaint Oak Bluffs where you will find gingerbread cottages, a old time carousel and dock side dining. Take a taxi or tour if you need to explore the other villages. More

This is the nicest way to get to Martha's Vineyard - takes a little time, but that's the best part. On a pretty day, it really adds to the experience. More

Hello Shrega, We are happy that you enjoyed your experience with us. Our typical saling time is 35-minutes dock to dock, which allows plenty of time to not only enjoy sailing across the waters of Vineyard Sound but to enjoy all that Martha's Vineyard has to offer upon arrival. I hope you will join us again soon. Thank you for... More

Hello Jeannemg and thank you for recommending us as a great day trip to Martha's Vineyard. I couldn't agree with you more and often guests will go to the island in the late morning, enjoy lunch in Oak Bluffs at one of many wonderful restaurants and then return in the mid afternoon. Boating and a great meal... what could be... More

Thank you Delidog for your compliments of the Island Queen. In July and August (our peak season) we recommend that visitors consider joining us on our 9:00AM departure from Falmouth, which can be a less busy than our 10:30AM departure. Additionally, our busiest days in the summer are mid-week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so visitors might consider a day... More
