There are actually arrows on the pavement, directing visitors to the grave sites of Lizzie bordem, emma and their poor slain parents. The cemetery is also beautiful in itself.

I often walk the roads of Oak Grove Cemetery for exercise and, like any outdoor site, the view changes dramatically as the seasons change. There are in fact many oaks here but there are also maple, beech, dogwoods, etc... so that the autumn foliage is beautiful. There is one large tulip poplar that is spectacular in the spring. Beside the... More

The cemetery is huge and very interesting to walk around and view all of the headstones. The infamous Borden family is buried there and it's nice that the cemetery has arrows painted on the walk so that you can find the Borden family's gravestones easily. Some of the headstones are very ornate and beautiful to look at. Worth the trip... More

A decent place to visit to see old Fall River history from the prospective of the people who lived there for 200+ years. Parking available and easy to find.

Most people visit the Oak Grove Cemetery to see the Borden family graves. When you enter the beautiful stone archway, immediately turn left and follow the white arrows to the graves. As far as cemeteries go, the Oak Grove Cemetery is one of the most gorgeous and well kept cemeteries I've ever visited.

The cemetery was beautiful. First, thank you for putting the white arrows on how to get to the Borden grave sites. That was an awesome idea! I enjoyed looking at the other memorials. You can see from the wear that the Borden's are getting a lot of traffic. While I was visiting there were two fellows from Canada who were... More

The Borden Family is one of the famous families buried here in the beautiful cemetery. Lizzie is here in the family plot, against her sister's wishes but her sister passed away before her.

We of course paired a visit here with a night at the Lizzie Borden House. The monument to the Borden family stands here near the graves of murder victims Andrew and Abby, as well as Lizzie and her sister Emma. The family plot is easy to find -- just follow the arrows on the pavement. The rest of the large... More

As a historian, visiting cemeteries is normal. This one is full of history and well tended. Families are grouped so it is easy to trace and look up those in a particular branch. Not far to walk from downtown and parking is easy, however I was there on a Saturday when it was -3. I had no map, but wandered... More
