It was a great moment passed with all group and our perfect guide Simon, Thomas and Michael. Very professionnal people, they know well all places we visited. Maria Island is the beautifull and perfect ending of this trip. But i will never forget the longest downhill ride of my life. Thks at the all team.

The expertise and professionalism of the 3 guides Oscar, Jordie & Yak was brilliant. They were attentive, organised & fun. The food was better than any trek journey we have participated in. Well done. We will consider other world ex trips abroad..

The weather was fantastic and the multi day rafting on the Franklin River was not to be missed. What made the trip excellent was the guides (Oscar, Jordie and Yak) who not only had experience with the river, but treated us like a big family. The food was second to none. I understand that Tasmania Expeditions has been doing this... More

A not to be missed adventure in Tasmania. We chose the six day, full backpack, camping option. This is not a casual " stroll through the park " , and together with driving hail and gale force winds whilst ascending Cradle Mountain, and rain most days, it was also very challenging. In spite of that, we enjoyed the experience immensely,... More

Being the first time I had travelled on my own, I wanted to be able to find a trip where I was with a group but not a bus load. Including our two trekking guides we had nine, which was a nice amount of people. Ken and Thommo, our trekking leaders were full of knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement. The food... More

With plenty or rain to swell the river and make rafting easier and more fun (bigger rapids and less portage) combined with excellent weather for our trip, it would have been hard not to have had a good time. However the 2 wonderful guides worked tirelessly to give us a fantastic holiday. They were knowledgeable about flora, fauna, geology and... More

It was a great trip and we had a wonderful guide from Tasmanian Expeditions. Thanks to Tommo we had healthy lunches prepared for us to be packed for our hikes and hot meals cooked for us at night. The walk around Dove Lake, the laborious climb to the summit of Cradle Mountain with 360 degree views, the visit to the... More

I loved my trip. the guides were both very helpful from the first day what we needed to have, sorting and packing our packs through to the last day enjoying our ride back into Launceston and resorting our gear. I was not expecting to be camping in the snow, so it was a bonus for me. Every day our guides... More

It was a pretty wet and muddy journey but apparently this was somewhat unusual. I went with Tasmanian Expeditions even though I am quite experienced. Could not begin to explain how well the trip was run. Right from the time I booked through the pre-trip briefing to the actual walk all was handled with the utmost professionalism. To walk with... My partner and I completed the Overland Trip over Christmas last year using Cradle Mountain Huts, organised through Tasmanian Expeditions. The trip from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair was very well organised and executed. Everyone in the small group (max 10 people) was required to carry up to 10kg of their personal belongings in a mid-sized backpack, and this... More
