We were at the beach and didn't have any money with us. The caretaker was so nice and let us in for free.

It was fun climbing the winding stairway with the kids and looking out over the bay. We followed up with lunch at the restaurant that was there - seating was outside at picnic tables that overlooked the bay. beautiful view. nice walk from street. if you come in season, the lighthouse may be open to walk up in. plenty of shells to pick up too.

Perfect lighthouse location. A must see when staying in Edgartown. It's a short walk from Harbor View. We went during the off season, so we had the place to ourselves.

My husband and I took a stroll down to the lighthouse while on our stay at the Harbor View Hotel. Though the lighthouse was not opened, the views were still beautiful and the beach peaceful. Looking forward to returning when it is open to visitors.

Beautiful setting for this lighthouse. It is just across the street from the HarborView Hotel and is easily accessible with a stroller to a point. This lighthhouse overlooks the bay where much of the movie Jaws was filmed.

Finally made it here after living in Massachusetts for years. So lovely. Romantic setting ... Was in the off season so my husband and I hardly saw anyone else on our walk.

Staffed by wonderful volunteers that make you feel welcome. they're all equipped to answer your questions and guide you safely up to the catwalk. It's a great destination before dinner.
