Fantastic beach, great views of Edgartown and Chappy. Worth the walk from Main Street. Lovely stroll.

No cost attraction worth it's weight in scenic views of Edgartown Harbor. All ages can enjoy. Easy walk on path and ends on sand.

LOVE THIS PLACE! My husband and I got married here and we ADORE it. The walk there is so nice and the sand is great on your toes. The bricks that are bellow the lighthouse are names of people who have passed away. Two of my uncles names are there. Truly a great place to beach, have a picnic or... More

Children 12 and under free admission, $5 for others, last entry at 4:30 to the top of this functioning lighthouse, please note the nearest bus stop is the Church street bus stop which is a good walk from here, not recommended for seniors with disabilities.

We rode our bikes from Oak Bluffs into Edgartown. This lighthouse is close to downtown. It costs $5 per person to enter, but it goes towards preservation. The lighthouse has wonderful views of Chappy. Just a beautiful spot.

It is a bit of a walk to the lighthouse from the road but it is worth it to climb to the top and get a stellar view of the water, cabanas at Chappaquidick, and lots and lots of boats.

we rode our bikes to a place where we could chain them and then walked to the Lighthouse that seems to have been renovated for touristy purposes. It is a tiny lighthouse and would call it a great landmark...except for the way they promote it. Getting there was more fun.

The walk to this lighthouse is really easy across some sand. The lighthouse itself is only about 46 feet tall with 45 steps to the top--about half the height of the tall lighthouses. The views were stunning. You can reach its history on wall displays as you make the climb. Few to climb is $5 to support the facility.

Worth a trip as vista is very pretty from the top. The lighthouse has been recently restored. Small historic display on the ground level. Entrance fee $5/person.

Loved that we could walk right down onto the beach and go right up to this lovely lighthouse and take in the view of the boats. We were there on a crystal clear day, sunny with a breeze and it was just a perfect thing to do after walking around Edgartown.
