This small airport is fun for kids and aviation geeks. Small light planes land and take off on the grass. There is also an antique bi-plane that offers rides. On a recent visit we saw other interesting vintage airplanes landing and taking off. Kids of all ages love this place and the diner there only open in the high season... More

Both of us were fitted to a parachute and could easily get into the front seat of the biplane. We were the given a leather helmet and goggles to put on. The goggles do fit over smaller framed prescription glasses. It was difficult to hear with the speaker system but we were able to hear the pilot, Mike, who did... More

While you are waiting for your breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Right Fork Diner you can pass the time away enjoying watching the takeoff and landing of the biplane tour ride operator or other area locals flying in and landing for the day or weekend.

Don't miss this when you're visiting MV! By all means, take the biplane sightseeing tour. Have a bite at the Right Fork Diner and then tour the island by air. Pilot Mike gave an informative tour and we got some great aerial shots from the plane.

Amazing, amazing loved riding on the biplane all I kept thinking was Out of Africa. Everyone at the airfield were the nicest people, great way to see the Vineyard. Also plan to have dinner, lunch or breakfast at the restaurant, the food and service was good

I only wish I had a white long silk scarf to wear for the flight. It was a step back in time. The crew and pilot couldn't have been more helpful and kind to help us settle in for a beautiful flight. Pilot was so informative and knowledgeable about the island. He pointed out all the celebrity homes. The restaurant... More
