You can park at the parking lot for a fee during summer hours. But after 5 or off season, you can just drive in and snap some sunset pictures all you want. It's a free, peaceful, most beautiful sight, that should help you appreciate Mother Nature at its best!

I love to walk the pup on Mayflower Beach at low tide. You can walk for miles all the way to Chapin Beach and back. It's amazing to have such a perfect piece of nature all to yourself.

This bay beach has the most beautiful sunset in the evening. No matter what time of the year it is. When the tide goes out there are small tidal pools for young children to play in. In the fall you can watch the wind surfers and walk the expansive beach. There are facilities and a snack bar, but the most... More

Get here early or wait until late afternoon if you expect to get space. Locals usually shy away from here during the summer. Dennis beaches are pricey. $25 weekdays and $30 weekends in 2014. Has snack bar, restrooms and wash areas for the fine sand. Plan your visit for low tides to fully appreciate the views. You will not regret... More

On the advice of a bartender at the 19th Hole in Hyannis, we took a ride out to Dennis, to ck out the Mayflower Beach. It was spectacular, we got there at low tide. I couldn't believe how far out the tide went. The sand was soft, no rocks, no seashells, just pure beauty. It was the perfect stop for... More

Parking can be an issue in the high season, but the beach size and ambiance is spectacular, especially during the shoulder seasons.

Often too popular. I like it later in the day when it is quieter. One of the better north side cape beaches

At low tide this beach is absolutely beautiful. At high tide, on season, it is crowded. It does have soft sand, a great snack bar, and a big parking lot but I live in Dennis and seldom come here any more because of the crowds.
