When we went in we were told a docent might be there in 1/2 hour if we were still there. She could not guarantee he would show. My husband and I looked at each other and said of course we will be here. We were not. There is not much to look at. The pieces that are exhibited appear to... More

Members are treated to frequent receptions with artist lectures and a variety of exhibitions. The latest is a glass sculpture exhibit in tandem with a local studio (12 artist weekly, 3 hour painting session) reception/lecture. Both events were stimulating and interesting with broad Q&A audience participation.

We decide to have a look on a rainy day here and came away with a mixed reaction. We loved the glass exhibit. There were some beautiful pieces. The "After Hopper" was nice but nothing special. As for the remainder of the works displayed in this museum, we could not help but think that some of them were hanging on... More

Excellent art and glass display. Same the exhibit for After Hopper, very impressive. This museum has it all, glass, fine art, sculpture and of course a nice gift shop. The guide gave us an overview of the displays which was nice.

Really enjoyed this museum. It had a special exhibition of Plein Air Artists. Really exceptional paintings. Would have purchased 4 or 5 if they were available. It had special section with a collection of artists/mentors pieces and details about each artist and mentor.

Visited our second time since Living in Dennis. Small museum with good exhibits. Lots of activities going on for children. Will have to bring the grand kids next year.

We planned our wedding and reception here for July 2015. We worked with Judy and she was fantastic! They were able to answer questions regarding the venue and the art and were helpful with assisting our vendors with moving and situating items inside. The ceremony was outside and on the lawn. The reception was inside with cocktail hour on the... More

We have been to many local art museums, but this one is one of the best.Very comprehensive exhibits. Will be going back for the new exhibit coming next week. Reasonably priced and well worth it.

We visited the museum for free on a "Free Friday". The museum has paintings, sculpture, and pottery. There were lots of activities for kids including drumming, face painting, pottery, and games. If you want it, this would be a nice break from the beach.
