for several years I had season tickets, this way you get 1 show for free. I haven't the past few years because I realized depending on the play you may want to sit closer vs. farther away. Most of the plays I've seen their were good. It is air conditioned, I personally enjoy the coolness but you may want to... More

I was very nervous about living on the Cape full time after living in New York City. I have been pleasantly surprised with the cultural activities on Cape Cod and the Cape Playhouse is one of my favorites. It is a lovely piece of theater history. I immediately became a season subscriber and enjoyed all of the productions. Take the... More

This is a place not to miss when visiting the Cape. It is a lovely OLD playhouse with no bad seats, the first couple of rows in the balcony are my favorite. In 10 years I have not seen a bad production.

Well it's not Broadway cast, but the caliber of the shows at the Cape Playhouse are outstanding. If you're looking for theater while on vacation, in an intimate setting the way theater used to be, this is a great choice. Saw Ain't Misbehavin' this summer and it rocked the house. Well worth the ticket price for sure!

It's great fun to see a musical at the Playhouse. The singing is great and often, the songs are familiar and the audience just hums along and smiles. Great energy!

Some are devoted to this Cape Cod institution, but it's expensive. If you like live theatre, there are lots of choices. The building is worth a visit, however, and its history will please many.

We saw the season-ending performance of Nunsense at the Playhouse and had a great time. The performance was very well done, and the venue, a renovated barn-style structure is well designed for such performances in a casual, relaxed setting. Looking forward to attending a performance again next summer!

Never would I have believed I would enjoy this "old" show. In fact the beginning, I wasn't but I sat back and recognized the talent and it was amazing. Beautiful voices, fantastic tap dancing. Though the show would not have been my first choice, the cast was very polished and talented. Definitely go! 4 years ago I saw Marc Salem... More

We went to Cape Cod this past weekend and my sister in law got us tickets to Ain't Misbehavin'. I am so glad she did. The play was so entertaining, lively from start to finish. The playhouse is adorable, an old church I believe. Every seat is a good seat. The outside area is beautiful and there is a great... More

Have seen many wonderful productions there--musicals, comedys and serious dramas, all with many known performers.
