This review comes months after my visit because I wanted to get the exact location to help other visitors get there on the first try as the road leading to the tower has no name, making this tower tricky to find. It’s off Scargo Hill Road on an access roadway across the road from Dr. Stanton Road. There’s a sign... More

Have visited this small (internal staircase) tower many times for the beautiful view. This was the first Winter visit after the recent blizzard. Just beautiful even from the parking lot. Cold & windy !

A little hard to find, up Scargo Hill Rd., which runs off of Old Bass River Rd., off Main St. from Village by the Gazebo! Two water views in one! Scargo Lake and Cape Cod Bay. The tower inside has a winding metal staircase. Go at the time of a sunset! Becareful, you may want to bring a flashlite. No... More

The Scargo Hill Observation Tower is definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the Dennis area. It overlooks Scargo Lake and provides some nice panoramic views of the Cape ( especially on bright sunny days ). There is enough parking for about 6 to 8 cars, and you need to go up a narrow metal stairway (... More

Certainly worth stopping here if you are in the area, there are great views from this 30-foot tower at the top of a hill near Scargo Lake. From the tower, you can see almost all of Cape Cod from on the bay side, including Provincetown. It is the 3rd tower on this site, the others were destroyed by, respectively a... More

Eh? This is sight seeing? Don't get me wrong the view is nice but this is a 30 foot shocker, you drive up a sharp hill to be confronted with what looks to be a stunted helter skelter. I've seen some underwhelming sights in my life but this slips into my top 10 oversold places quite easily. You've been warned.

We found this hidden little gem on our GPS adventure one foggy afternoon. It's a steep drive up a winding hill, but totally worth the free admission! It's beautiful. A great photo op, and that is even before climbing to the top. The spectacular 360 view that awaits you is just amazing. We highly recommend!

One of the most special but un-touristy sites on Cape Cod. Somewhat buried in the woods, it provides an incomparable view northward of the Cape, and it is free. The tower itself is not very tall and is an easy climb via a circular staircase, but its hilltop location provides a stunning vista.

Scargo Tower, a stone tower, is located in Dennis, MA on Cape Cod and is the highest point in the Mid-Cape. It offers a breathtaking view of Cape Cod Bay on the northside. On clear days you can see the tip of Cape Cod, the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown, as well as the water tower in Sandwich near the Cape... More
