This is in side of the Dedham theater it is actually on the way to bathroom it is just a room full of awful arts. The one was called Mana Lisa It was just a nightmare. One of my friend told me a funny story that some of her friend did yard sale and sold her art to a stranger... More

My primary purpose is to reiterate that the museum has been in Somerville for years. It is not in Dedham. Another review correctly details that the museum is inside the Somerville Theatre and admission to a film gets you admission to the museum. That also means if you want to just see the museum you must buy a ticket to... More

This place is not hard to find - get off at Davis (red line - north) and head to sommerville theatre. You deifnitely won't be able to miss it because its huge compared to the things around Davis Square. FYI - MOBA is INSIDE the theatre. so you would have to purchase a ticket for a show to get into... Most important is the fact that this museum is now either defunct or no longer in this location. The "art" that hung on the basement walls outside the men's room is gone, and has been replaced by other art that looks a bit more respectable. The art consisted of roughly 20 pieces, most if not all paintings, hung on the... More

Museum of Bad Art used to be in the basement of the Dedham Community Theater and was always great, but it's no longer there. Gone. The theater itself is still there and shows mainly independent movies on 2 screens.

you have nothing to lose. The museum of Bad Art is a free "museum". Really it's an unfinished room in the basement of a community theatre, and bad art hangs on the wall. Clever and humorous descriptions accompany each work of art. Fun side trip if you have 20 minutes to kill and want a good laugh.

I don't know what Bigfish a go-go expected, but bad art is bad art. Did he expect to find some of da Vinci's cast offs? As for the price, how can you waste your money on something that is free?? I have stopped in there a couple of times over the last few years and have always found it to... More

The Museum of Bad Art is free. It is a good place to visit if you are in the area anyway. Otherwise it is not worth the trip. The Dedham Theater that hosts the museum is very nice.

In the downstairs of a movie house - on the way to the men's bathroom - is a one room exhibit of truly terrible art. It's the kind that makes you wonder what in the world the artist was thinking. The best part, though, are the explanatory notes for each piece. Truly hysterical. This isn't worth going far out of... More

Lovely movie house above in lovely Dedham Center. Not really a destination but more of a hallway with some found bad art. It would be fun for a young couple to stroll through if they happened to be there but no reason to go out of your way.
