I took my family on vacation here. I travel a lot and always like to bring back something a little unique from the place I visited (something other than a t-shirt). I decided to look for a map of Cape Cod. We found this charming cottage. I was nervous because my two young nephews were with us and didn't want... More

My wife and I stopped at Maps of Antiquity during a day trip on the Cape and are so glad that we did. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of maps was fantastic. Definitely somewhere we'll stop again.

I first visited this store in 2011 while on vacation with a girlfriend and bought a map for my map-obsessed husband, which he loved. Our anniversary is coming up and we just returned from a trip to Germany, so I checked out the web site for a map that he might like as a gift. I found the perfect one,... More

If you're a map person, you absolutely should see this place, even if you leave empty-handed. The shop is quite small, but stuffed from floor to ceiling with old to really old maps, most well-preserved and in very good condition. It's an astounding collection of maps from around the world, some hundreds of years old. And because the shop is... More

Thank you very much for your kind words! We are so pleased that you enjoyed our store, our selection of maps, and our one-stop framing options. We find that people will probably get their maps on their walls much faster if we offer framing so that they don't have to deal with the hassel of finding someone to do it... More

This is a great place to spend some time while in Chatham. The map selection is amazing and the owners and staff are so knowledgable and helpful! We spent a good hour and a half perusing the selections and chatting with the wonderful owners. We ended up calling about 2 weeks after our visit and asked if we could buy... More

This stop in Chatham is a must-see if you like history, geography, or just pleasant conversation while browsing. The staff and owner of this establishment are certain to go that extra mile to make sure you find what you are seeking. I wanted an antique-style map of Cape Cod, and had been looking at antique stores and shops throughout our recent visit. Maps of Antiquity was recommended to me, so we went to see what they had. My family spent about half an hour in this shop, browsing the amazing maps. The owner chatted with us quite a bit, telling us a bit about Chatham (it was our first visit there), offering some recommendations for things to do there, and highlighting some items in his collections (including his oldest maps). This is a fun place for anyone... More
