A must see for lighthouse enthusiasts.

This lighthouse is located in an area with an awesome view of the beach and ocean. It is a very pleasant drive down route 28 to get here.

It was neat to see an actual working lighthouse and my 5 yo son thought it was cool, but the rest of us didn't see the big deal of it. If you have little kids that are into this type of stuff then I think it is worth the stop, but I personally would skip this if I was ever... More

It's just a typical lighthouse. However, you should pay it a visit as it's next to the nice Chatham Lighthouse Beach and the famous Chatham Fish Pier where when in season, you can watch the fisherman unload their catches which attracts lots of birds and seals which attracts lots of tourist!

Right there in the east tip of Massachusetts, this photogenic lighthouse is opposite to a large dune and the green-blue waters of the Atlantic. Perfect place to take pictures and it's also an easy walk from downtown.

Very cool lighthouse but what got me was the beautiful beach across the street. Wish it had been a little warmer so I could take a dip.

How can one travel all the way out to one tip of Cape Cod, without a stop at the Lighthouse? You Cant! and you Shouldn't! Beautiful piece of history with the Lighthouse and amazing picturesque spot of the beaches of Chatham. You can only get within 30 or so yards from the base of the lighthouse, but there was plenty... Beautiful location with a great beach and view. I don't know if you can go in- we just looked at the outside- but it is so picturesque! Don't miss it on a trip to Chatham!

An active lighthouse with a great history. Wonderful vistas from the parking lot. Highly recommend tours of the lighthouse when given by the Coast Guard. Check local paper for schedule. Limited parking across the street. Great place to have a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise or the ocean waves for a few moments. Public Restrooms are across the... More

I very much appreciated the stroll on the grounds and the small cemetery. Tennyson's "Crossing the Bar" was extremely poignant written on the plaque of one monument and was one of the most powerful experiences of the trip.

Off season it's easier to park and take a nice long walk on the beach. You often see the seals baking in the sun as you walk south towards Monomoy. You can walk across and see the Monomoy Refuge Park and on the way back it's just beautiful seeing Chatham and the lighthouse in the distance no matter what the... More
